Why not? If it is also a high fidelity music and video player why not get the best picture and sound? With lots of flash storage and removable storage we can take our entertainment with us.

Yep, and in the not too distant future, microsd-xc is coming out, "xc" as in eXtended Capacity!!! That's suppose to cap out @ 2TB's!!!

Absurd wouldn't be the right adjective. A lot of things are going to happen with mobile phones eventually. In the not too distant future we'll be beaming movies onto our walls from our mobile phones. So, don't be too surprised what kinds of uses we'll be getting out of our cellphones in 2-3yrs, don't be surprised @ all.
