I second what Jayshmay said, I'm trying to decide between the Touch Pro 2 (Verizon's if they'll ever release it) and the Omnia 2.

Having that phone on tmobiles laughable 3g network is like having a Lambo with a kia rio engine. But congrats to t-mobile for getting it first but its coming out for all the other 3 major companies by the end of the year.....

lmao... haters will always hate. You go on and keep hating...mean while, while your hating, keep waiting till your carrier finally picks it up. You should also check out the reviews once it drops for T-Mobile because you wont be seeing reviews from another carrier customer.

"like having a lambo with a kia rio engine" lol...that was cute. You getting the phone after T-Mobile does is like marring a hoe after she been on the strip a few months.

By the time you get this phone we will be talking about our next one. Lmao.

Are u serious, the touch pro came out for sprint first last October and everyone got theres (well at least companies with a respectable 3g coverage area) in January and it turned out just fine. No one will be jumping ship to tmobile for this phone when its going to all carriers in just a couple months. P.S. hey let me know when t-mobile is going to offer TV and GPS?

I hope they never offer TV. Its a waste of money in my opinion. A marketing skim that only people 25 or under fall into. Ever seen a 30+ with the TV feature? aside from the 1 or 2 rares. Ever seen someone under 25 with it? lol. TV is like a sidekick. Great for the kids.

GPS? Are YOU serious? Couldn't think of nothing else hu? T-Mobile does offer GPS but why would you bother with it when there are so many cheaper (free) alternatives? I have internet on my 8900, I rather MapQuest it and save my money.

You reaching for a comeback. Why did you mention the pro when we are clearly speaking of the pro2? lol. You go on and wait a few months...mean-while...T-Mobile customers will be having a hands-on experience and writing reviews you can read...

Ya your right no one over 35 watches games live on NFL network on their phone... oh absolutely. And yes no one over 35 watched the president get sworn in on their phone either. Nope your right only 1-2 people have done that. Of course no ones wants TV at there hands its way to convenient when your bored or stuck some place. All in all your a fool.

Again you show your brilliance here. Of course no one wants turn by turn gps that updates with traffic and that speaks to you and that reroutes you when you make a wrong turn. Because we want to risk our lives and look at a tiny screen with mapquest instructions and drive 70 MPH on the highway or waste time and pull over to get the directions off the phone. Because voice controlled gps is just...

Kinda confused about this back and forth arguement. Both of you realise that most pda phones coming out for t-mobile have built in gps which can use telenav or just free google maps which gives you turn by turn directions. I do realize it wont correct your route if you make a wrong turn but most people can figure out how to get back to the main road if they miss a turn, i dont need a GPS device to tell me to make a U turn at the next light.

Also if you want tv, why not just get a slingbox? You can watch EVERY channel and not just a small ammount that your carrier supports.

Just a little FYI, there was an independant test done in 30 cities across the US on the speed of 3g networks. T-Mobile came in 2nd. 😲

Ya learn to read it also states that it is not really accurate and that its not scientific and most of the users where AT&T. Second They said they go by the the user submitted info.

"We realize that the substantially larger amount of AT&T test takers may unfairly contribute to an overall lower download speed — so take this considerably lower result with a nugget of salt.
The test results rely heavily on good faith that participants were being honest (and not, for instance, running the test over Wi-Fi). We did, however, remove any bogus, impossibly high results, as well as incomplete data fields.
Software, processors, memory and other factors will obviously affect a cellphone’s overall download speeds. Smartphones with faste...

Not really arguing with him. I just found it funny that he came on here to hate on T-Mobile for getting it 1st and all he can talk about is "a better service", "tv" and "gps".

Yet, further down someone showed numbers where T-Mobile has the better service (next to verizon?). Im not here to debate with him nor am i here to say T-Mobile is the better way to go. I was just here to kill time in my day and respond to a hater. It made me feel good.

I never once had a problem with Mapquest which i been using for many years now on all of my smartphones. Never got the Gps feature because frankly, mapquest did its job. I dont need a step by step... i just need to glance at the page and im set. Perhaps people who genuinely have bad driving habits...
