Watch Out Radioshack
I kinda figured when I first heard this concept they were going to eventually do more and compete head to head with Radioshack. They will gradually offer more products. If I was Radioshack I would be worried.
...
Radioshack has good deals. Free Rumors, Touch 6900 for $99.99 no rebate.
...
and Best Buy Mobile price matches all of that, as well as a 30 day price match as well. So you buy the Rumor for us and for some reason we charge you 29.99. You find out Radio Shack is selling it for free, come back and we refund you the difference.
...
It's more the fact that Radioshack just gives you a better price to start out with. Our Rumors are free and clear with a new activation and only $24.87 if you upgrade. We also have a $40.00 bill credit in the Radioshack Sam's Club Kiosk that you can't get anywhere else but at a Sam's Club. I was just at Best Buy yesterday and they are selling the Blackberry Pearl for $279.99 and here it's only $49.87 with a $100.00 mail in rebate so by coming here you actually make $50.00.
...
for the longest time we have carried the peal never has it been over 149.99, you must have been looking at the wrong price. The Pearl through Verizon is free straight out the door, 129.99 throught att and 79.99 through sprint. But I am not going to argue here but hey, at least we are the only ones in the market to cover the iPhone with accidental coverage from drop or liquid damage which apple nor att offers
...
You can't even get the IPhone where I live. You can't get AT&T here. Also AT&T wouldn't cover it because AT&T doesn't even take care of tech. support on the IPhone so they wouldn't ever cover anything on it. Also I have a picture of the Pearl costing outrageous amounts of money.
...
That's true. I know, because I used to work for at&t WSC. I was glad that we didn't take care of the iPhone. Imagine all the bitching!
...
Not bad. It does suck, though, that Verizon's centro is free, while Sprint's is $79.99 (that's what I saw on Wednesday).
...
For the upgrade the centro is 79.87 but for a new line it is only 29.87 on Sprint. But you have to keep in mind that we have that $40 bill credit no matter if it is an upgrade or a new line. I'm not too sure what it is on Verizon because we don't sell Verizon.
...
$29.87 is quite nice.
