Do we really need this?

The FAA already has said it's a no-go, do we really need to legislate what society and the FAA already have decided upon?

If this bill passes, on every flight I'm on, I'm going to have an obnoxiously loud one-way conversation to nobody in particular, but not be on my cell phone. Sure, it'll be annoying and obnoxious as hell, but not illegal!

out of curiosity is what is the main reason they want to make this illegal? is it because of people being loud? or does it have more to do with frequencies and what not?

Politicians would have to hear other people's conversations on tax payer ticket fares.
