Just curious, but if the phone doesn't even officially exist (no official specs, release info, etc), how can you know that?

That doesn't mean anything. Any unlocked GSM device can be programmed with T-Mobile settings and run on the T-Mobile network, displaying the T-Mobile operator banner. 😕

True, but consider this: T-Mobile has no Treo, and the MDA and SDA are "wildly exceding" T-Mob's guesses. Plus, T-Mob wanted the Q before it was announced CDMA. Plus, Cingular doesn't get phones first. But, it could also just be T-Mob Europe, and never come for any US company...

F*** that, nothing is taking the place of the 8125... The 3G version of the 8125 maybe, but the 8125 is pretty much the greatest phone ever created.

You need a new data rep. The 8525 (aka Hermes/Tytn) is taking the place of the 8125. Cingular currently (as of August 21st) does not have this phone or any other matching its description on their product lineup.
