I don't see what the problem is... myspace is free, but they don't force you to join...

So what if myspace is so popular and a ton of things are associated with it.... it's a lot better than a lot of friend/journal pages out there.
I have about 115 friends but I know about 80-90% of them in real life... Not all myspacers out there are addicts. Some use it like me to find friends they haven't talked to in a while, post bullitens about up comming events, and a lot of people use it as a personal website for themselves because you can edit the html, so there's no need to make a personal page about yourself with geocities or something, cause they have everything for you on myspace, and ev...

Aaaactually... I think that's a bad thing. Have you SEEN some of these people's pages? My god, it's like when AOL launched Hometown or when Angelfire first came out - basically, 95% of the pages are overblown with graphics, crazy colored text, 5 songs, 3 movies... feels like some of the pages are going to put me into a seizure. =D

Well of course I've seen A LOT of peoples pages, but even still, a lot of regular home pages people make can look crazy too!
The main point is, myspace is nice because you can use it as a personal website too, and design it however you want, because you can use html, and everyone is linked together automatically.
I mean sure enough peoples pages have music videos and such on them, but there is a play and a stop button, as far as graphics and glitter things. I've seen some very organized pages and some that are crazy. A lot of websites already have pre-designed layouts too that you can choose from.
Like I said before, no one is forcing anyone to join. While myspace may seem crazy to some people, there are others like me who use it as...
