Can no one in this country take responsibility for choices that they make anymore???? No one held a gun to anyone's head and said "YOU MUST USE A CELL PHONE!!!!"

This is ridiculous. 🙄

Hmmmm...my employer requires me to carry a cellular phone, they even pay my bill. Sounds like gross negligence to me 🙂

My company requires me to sell cellular phones..... JACKPOT! I have to be around them all day, testing them, fixing them, activating them, so that should be worth more.

Just kidding.

I'm sueing Weider weight equipment because one of these days I just might so happen to lift too much weight on the bench press and have it come crashing down on me! What!? That could hurt me??

There might also be a cup of hot tea on my chest ready to spill from Panera Bread (can't use coffee anymore 😉 )

It's the same thing with the best part of the egg: the yolk. 40 years ago they were good for us. 20 years ago scientists said they'd kill us. 10 years ago they're good for us again. I'm starting to believe that scientists really know jack squat. Which, of course, scares the crap out of me in regards to cell phone radiation. I really have no desire to die of brain cancer. So gentlemen, get your acts together...come up with an answer before the 400 monthly minutes kills me dead.

Hell, it gets even better. Supposedly if you happen to carry your phone in your pocket, and you are a male, you increase your chances of killing the boys and becoming sterile. While some of us would certainly welcome that...it is disturbing none the less.

Show me the study that proves that is a factual statement and not just a theory.

Also, make sure you are using a digital phone, not an analog phone. Digital phones use far less power, and no one sells just analog in the major cities.

I'm not saying it isn't nessisarily true, I'm just saying that without proof, it's hard to say either way.

ah yes the court system, the easiest scapegoat of them all, i dont believe cell phones emit dangerous radiation and dont believe there is any evidence of this, but if it is true then they have all the rights in the world to pursue it.

very true SF. it is kinda the same situation with tobacco and that lawsuit in 1994, 1992 and the recent one.

problem is, if the companies knowingly did it then that is a problem, but the FCC is doing a great job mandating all of this radiation and things of that nature. another problem is... you can get radiation from anything so how can you link cell phones, now, to brain cancer and other cancers?

i know in the past the phones were full of it, but not as much now cuz of the FCC.

anyway, there should be some product liablity, but it shouldnt potentially destroy an industry if there is a huge judgement against them. (becuase congress will never do it just like they didnt do it in the settlement with the tobacco companies for over $...

Sigh, those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it and the postings in this forum make that statement ever so clear to me.

If you believe the matter is as simple as you are trying to spin it - then you are mistaken.

Try looking up corporation's drive for profit at the expense of their employees and consumers and see what you find.

I imagine you will be just as shocked, and that those people who stood up to corporations so that you actually have standards on many the products you buy nowadays were whiners too.

How silly of you.

call me crazy but i cannot envision milti-billion dollar industries as "the little guy" no matter how much they are sued with or without reason, although i myself do not partake in that avenue i will never support goliath over david.

I'm not saying to support goliath over david, as you said. I am saying that people need to realize that there would be no goliath without alot of David's. All of the David's together form the Goliath.
