Supreme Court Lets Radiation Suits Proceed
Nov 3, 2005, 3:39 PM by (staff)
The Supreme Court has allowed five lawsuits against wireless phone manufacturers and carriers to proceed by refusing to hear an appeal on Monday. The class action suits allege the companies downplayed or hid the dangers of radiation from cell phones and were negligent for not including headsets with their phones. Cases pending in DC, Georgia, Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania seek damages, as well as reimbursement for wired headsets. Although there is no empirical proof that cell phone radiation causes any damage to users, analysts now fear that wireless companies will face the same fate as tobacco companies - forced to face various charges, and various restrictions on a state by state basis.

Yes because...
They never have information that can show the true dangers of their products and withhold them only to increase their bottom line.
The comments I have read thus far reek of an ignorance surrounding the matter and only address the issue from a position of one who uses and sells cellular phones.
I suggest to you all to try and take a step back and look at the matter with a rational and objective point of view.
After having done that, I further suggest considering the other examples of corporate greed in several industries that put profit before human lives.
If you are confused on where to look, I suggest starti...

These nusiance litigators are the single largest contributor to the Democratic Party, which party in turn defeats every attempt by the Republicans to institute reasonable tort reform.
