Who exactly did they test their devices on that said "is there any way you could add a little piece of plastic connected with a piece of rubber that will rip off before the battery loses charge and that I need to double check is sealed everytime I use it to be waterproof".
And yet they say they want to be one of the big boys making a profit on smartphones. Every device they release seems to have glaring issues, and they load up sooo much useless sony bloatware that their $700 flagships run like $99 ZTE's.
And if you offer a waterproof device, maybe your warranty should cover water damage...oh wait, maybe that's why they have the waterproof hat...
