Cellular South Also to Sell HTC Merge World Phone

Cellular South today announced plans to offer the HTC Merge, which is a GSM/CDMA Android world phone. It goes on sale in April, though pricing wasn't revealed. The Merge is also being offered by Alltel, and a Verizon-branded version has cleared the FCC.

HTC today announced the Merge, a new CDMA/GSM world phone that runs Android 2.2 and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for messaging. The Merge has HTC's Sense user interface overlay and offers a 3.8-inch touch display, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and 720p HD video capture, GPS and Wi-Fi.

Samsung today announced the US launch of five new phones in the company's affordable Galaxy A series, including three 5G models. The Galaxy A32 5G will be the most affordable 5G model at just $280, and will be exclusive to T-Mobile (and Metro) at launch.
