Phone Scoop takes a brief look at two new world phones from Samsung that work on Verizon Wireless's network in the U.S. and can roam onto GSM/EDGE networks overseas.
We had the opportunity to test the new Samsung Saga and Samsung Renown. Both are offered by Verizon Wireless and offer coverage both in the U.S. and overseas.
The Saga is a Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with optical mouse and full QWERTY keyboard. The Renown is a more basic feature phone that also has a camera. You can watch our video tour here:

Touch Screen makes it easier to drag and select multiple files at once. Windows mobile is better because there are tons of third party apps you can download, plus the new WM Treos include GPS and WiFi 😎
the saga has a touch screen in addition to the optical mouse and QWERTY keyboard.
and the renown isnt that basic of a phone it has a 2.0 mp camera, mp3 player, memory card slot bluetooth etc, its more of a mid range phone with global capabilities
