for the Apple iPhone 3GS:
Almost Perfect now
Great phone and web device. Battery life definitely much improved over the 3G. Camera also much better. Cut and paste finally-yea! Phone RF overall seems the same as the 3G-that is flaky. Signal meter varies all over the place in both Edge and 3G service areas. All in all very pleased so far. Judging by the 1M units sold the first weekend I'm not alone.

for the LG VX-8600 / AX-8600:
Good phone but RF not up to Snuff
Sorry to say I received my 8600 today and am returning it (will actually ebaY it). I can live with all the quirks listed elsewhere but RF is an issue for me. I'll preface this by stating I'm in an old PrimeCo area (1900 mhz). Here phones indoors are problematic and Moto and Nokias fare no better than LGs. My 8300 is the best Rf performing phone (of ANY) I've used over the past five years and the only ...

for the LG VX-5200 / 6200:
Almost Perfect!
This is a real sleeper phone. I've been struggling to find a good phone and have been switching back and forth between the V276 and LG 8100. No more. The 5200 is a keeper. Pros -Outstanding RF. I'm surprised this doesn't get more 'pub'. In my weak PCS area it pulls a better signal in my house (-096 vs -099) than either of the other 2 phones. Same story at work. -Very well built. ...

Great Phone at a Great Price
Great LG Phone!! Does everything it should and then some. Not the prettiest phone but ask yourself why almost all other phones have the speaker in BACK?! Pros: Great RF-as good or better than the Motos Design-SPKR aside, beauty is in the eye of the beholder Great build quality-solid feel Great LG UI Excellent battery life Easily modded via BitPim (7.24) and data cable Uses existing LG model chargers/cables Nice outside display I paid $39 for it-enough said Cons : Design(for some) B&W outside LCD Inner LCD poor in sunlight

for the Motorola V265 / V266 / V276:
Great Phone at a Great Price
Pros: GREAT RF-The single most important phone feature IMO. Best that VZW offers. Solid construction. I know others differ but it is solid to me. No creaks, tight hinge, good secure closing and opening. Good speakerphone. Better than most. Good earpiece and ring tone volume. Can be modded to upload pictures and .mp3s via MPT. Great battery life Cons: The screen of course. Small and dim. Usable but not much else. It's OK for me as I'm using it as a ...

for the LG VX-6100:
Very Nice Phone!
Near perfect. Has everything I demand in a flip-phone; tri-mode, SPK, LOUD ringers, good displays ext. and int., great UI, easily uploaded ringers (MP3), wallpaper, and phonebook (via BitPim and RS cable 170-0792 (Future Dial model #19) Coming from the GSM world I miss the stronger reception pull but in my area that's due to native VZW CDMA 1900 band coverage. Forcing the mode to 'cell only' changes that for the better. That's VZW's issue not ...
