From what I understand that's just an option you can sign up for not a mandatory fee...if you decide against it you just use minutes from your existing plan.

That would be the first "mobile" phone...basically a phone in a backpack that 90 year old women bring in from time to time because they stopped working 3 years ago and the just noticed they don't get a bill anymore...basically saying that feature phones without a keyboard are dead like the bag phone.

When I first started selling at&t we had about 15 phones total...maybe 3 of those devices were full keyboard PDA phones...as time has gone on the rate in which new flip phones come out slowed but thats because the majority of people who still want flip phones are still looking for the RAZR V3 lol. As a person who also owned an N75 I can say it was a great phone and they don't really make anything along those ...

sounds like this apple fan boy is on the iPad. What kind of moron would expect microsoft to use anything but its already very successful (OK overstating the zune) platforms to improve the only product in their lineup that lacks. So feel free to be angry for no reason but you sir make no sense. The other sheep and myself welcome you to leave because this is a day of redemption for Microsoft HAZAAAAAH

I've synced plenty of bluetooth headsets with that phone...being a universal technology the only issues I can think of is possibly a defective headset or you maybe missing a step in the syncing process

Sounds to me like your phone may either need an update to the software or updated service books. Blackberry's have a lot of fixes that are ota so if you go into your email setup icon and hit send service books it might fix that issue. If that doesn't work look for additional software upgrades on the blackberry website. This is true of all blackberry's 90% of the time if there is an issue with a phone it ends ...

Re: Handoff to my office WiFi via UMA?
Jun 26, 2009, 10:46 AM
in the BlackBerry Curve 8900 forum

UMA Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) provides access to cellular mobile voice and data services over unlicensed spectrum technologies, such Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (802.11). A UMA phone will use a cellular networks (GSM, CDMA, etc.) when out and about, and automatically switch to a UMA-enabled Bluetooth or Wi-Fi local network when in range, such as at home or in the office. In local mode, a complete, virtual GSM or CDMA connection is "tunneled" to the carrier via the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection and ...

From what I understand it should be pantech's OS which is very smooth and responsive. Their newer phones have been relatively impressive. They tried the windows mobile experiment and it failed so it'll probably be a while before we see another pantech windows mobile device. :)

Uhhhh...I have a razor and have messed around with the v3xx and honestly it sounds like your phone might have a defect of some sort. I think if I was you i would take it back and feel it in comparison to another of the same model they shouldn't have a problem doing that for you.

Re: 3G Sim Question

in the Motorola RAZR V3xx forum

The 3G sim card will allow you to use the phone to its fullest. You can use it with the 32k but to use broadband connect and Cingular Video it will run smoother with a 3G sim. Also some newer phones can burn out 32k sim cards so its to your advantage to get the 3G sim ahead of time to avoid any unforeseeable issues.
