As far as an official release from Verizon, no, but that doesn't mean there isn't a third party download out there that turns WAP into full URL's because I've used it. Though still isn't much better because of "maximum memory" errors.

The only way I could think of is to email them to yourself in the form of a text message. A lot of ringtone software out there enables a function that will text message your phone the ringtone you create. Xingtone Ringtone Maker is one of my favorites and I've had the best of luck with it. Make sure it's compatible with your phone(s) before purchasing it.

It's ironic how most people complain about activating the speaker function when the phone is closed because it tends to enable when it's in our pockets. :D

Welcome to WAP. Because it's being compressed into such a small source it tends to disable a lot of things. The only way you'll be able to access your myspace and email through other companies that Verizon doesn't offer would be through a smartphone that supports full URL's. It would be a smart idea if Myspace would redesign their site into a compressed mobile version so that you could check your messages and comments, ect.

Re: File Transfer on Bluetooth

I hate to burst your bubble but a lot of carriers out there only make bluetooth prone to headsets and picture transfers, not just Verizon. There's only a couple phones out there that have fully functional bluetooth and they're the smartphones. Companies aren't going to unlock the bluetooth to its full potential so that you can transfer your music and pictures and video and not have to buy a memory card or a data cable, what sense would that ...

I use the expensive Jabra JX10. It has voice command, but for being an expensive product I can't really say it lived up to all the expectations that it should have. It seems whenever I use the phone and make a call it becomes staticy. The voice command is great feature and so is the battery life, but not worth the hassle of the annoying feedback.

If you're not using a data cable then I do recommend you use a dedicated MicroSD memory card reader. I've noticed that when you use a universal card reader (5 in 1 or 12 in 1) and use the adapter that comes with the card it doesn't always read, I've had this problem continuously.

Re: U740 Vs. EnV Lg Vx9900

in the Samsung SCH-U740 Alias forum

I work for Verizon and when I played with the 740 for the first time I wasn't impressed one bit. I currently have the 9900 and it's a lot more handier then the small button Samsung. Another problem I've noticed, when you open the phone from the side your buttons stay in flip-phone position which means all your buttons are adjacent making it harder to navigate through the menu and even making a call can be difficult because the ...

A lot of phone stopped doing that. Now, phones (LG Moto's, Samsungs, ect) have a feature that vibrates and rings at the sametime rather then just vibrating 3 times then ringing. On the LG's it's under Menu > Settings & Tools > Sound Settings > Call Sounds > Call Vibrate then click "On" this will enable you to vibrate while the phone is ringing so if you're in a noisy area you'll be able to feel your phone. ...

I know Best Buy likes to street date their phones on Sunday (when the beginning of the new ad opens.) Every single one of my co-workers are excited for this phone plus they're bringing back front-face text reading.

No, you saw a picture of the KRZR which is already out. I don't see the 8600 coming out anytime soon since the KRZR resembles it on the front face (even on the MP3 Playback buttons.)
