BitPim would bring it up as a "Other" phone, and when I set it to the correct phone manually it wouldn't recognize it.

Yes, all of the cords I've bought came with the software. 2 wouldn't even recognize by my comp and the third which has me using a program called BitPim would see a Phone, just not the right phone. I've installed the driver and everything, just have no idea what I could be doing wrong. =\

I have Metro PCS in Tampa for almost a year now with a little LG basic flip phone. My boyfriend has a Nextel i870 and I've hooked it onto the computer several times and loaded ringers and images with no problem. Does Metro block this somehow? Or do I have bad cables?
