Re: TOO LATE!
I have to agree. With dual cores and higher GPU output, I am ridiculous for power. battery? Who cares. I want the power to clone myself.
Re: Put your phone number in and it sends you a hint!!!
Doesn't every carrier claim to have the next gen network? Although I do know WHO ┞¢ that phrase. I cannot wait for an HTC Tegra 2 monster.
Re: T-Mobile Rebrands HSPA+ as '3.9', Says Its 3.9G Network Is the Nation's Largest
LMFAO
Re: Initial thoughts on this news
Agreed. Perfectly said.
This is likely due to the iPhone coming to Verizon
Why else? Stick the iPhone on any carrier and they will double their network traffic. SO regulate it with tiered pricing.
I would rather be on a phone and a carrier without. As long as it stays connected consistently.
Re: Here's an option
I have read that an option would be T-Mobile invests in Wimax as their solution. But I dont see that being practical. Then again - not having a 4G strategy isnt either!
Re: Violating FEDERAL LAW
I bet you are right. And since it IS legal in CA, but nearly no where else, messages can be used to alert people across state lines, where it is NOT legal... hmm, you are very very important thinker my friend. Very much so indeed.
Re: smh
I agree. This is so funny of T-Mobile. LOL. STONERS ARE WEIRDOES!!!!
Re: math
sumbitch musta been high.
Re: Ridiculous
Why?
Re: Wow!
Same here. The OS is more polished, in my opinion than any other. But what do I know? I'm just another man with Android.
But that may change.
Re: Kudos
Agreed. And a tablet utilizing 2.0 would be 100% insane.
Re: 4G? Umm...not according to the ITU's definition of 4G speeds
IT does not mention it is a 4G phone. It mentioned a comparable speed boost which can be likable to those theoretical speeds.
Re: Oh Please
And to add, 9 out of 10 smartphone users are not "power users" and do not need top notch components to do what they want to do, which is:
Text (yay for hardware KBs)
Download FB and Twit apps
stream music
send email.
Thanks for your assessments, but they are obviously out of touch with what actually makes money. Which is what companies need to stay above water.
Stop crying! Gosh!
Re: TAKE THAT HTC EVO AND DROID X!
And don't forget, its 5 inches DIAGONALLY.
Re: It's true...but not really...
I guess I agree with you. The data is still there, he is simply being penalized. I like to use Wifi wherever it is, and I am unsure of my data usage as a whole (in MA).
My guess is, the sales person is simply ill informed as to what the contract actually contains - which is no excuse either. But, I am sure his job is simply to get business, as MOST people will not use that much ...
Re: The website is free to visit???
i want you to calm down right now
Then the CTIA should...
Educate cellphone users as to what the numbers mean.
Don't post calories and not saturated fats! It will confuse eaters about what causes fatassitis!
Just in time for another rumor
The one that says T-Mo usa will get the iPhone 4 in Q3.
That would be interesting.
Maybe apple us realizing, more carriers is more better, and more money?
It would be a lot simply for someone on ATT to go to Tmo with their iphone 4, since it is GSM - Although 3G would not work (Edge, yes). But, totally impossible for someone on att to want a Verizon iphone, should it happen. since the networks are 100% incompatible.
Then again, a ...
Re: I wonder what it will be...
I am hoping it will be an unbelievable phone. Something comparable to the Evo, or DX. Every possible technology option including Wifi-n, BT3, a front facing camera (so I can get my jollies) and a hummingbird CPU, with a real GPU. (thanks!).
I also heard the Sidekick is making a comeback with Android and a 4.3 inch screen. Who knows.
Re: My only gripe...
One can always use the touch screen option, as well.
Re: not really...
You are possible correct. However, this move by T-Mobile will definitely have penetration. A lot of people who just want voice, and possible some other "far out" options on a basic phone will fee this "good enough" coverage is just what their bank accounts asked for.
Re: Needed improvements
Agreed. Garmin made a bold move coming out with their own mobile linux OS. Then Android hit, and rather than try to beat google, they joined them. Simple enough. I want this phone.
ew bad typo
185 potential customers? Markets maybe - I assume.
I guess the question on some Tmo's customers minds is: what phones out there now can take advantage of the faster network? N1? XT?
The info is out there, I am sure. I like the android garmin phone, personally. It depends on how good it really is, though. I am looking to upgrade my aging G1.
Interestingly enough, now that Vzw and Sprint are dropping the N1 from their line up, I ...
Re: 12 megapixel camera?
Your argument is noted. And no one cares. This debate was firey 5 years ago. Nokia used better optics, glass lenses and other software to enhance the photo, and their camera modules have always been top notch. And.. everyone hypes their phones with marketing. Stop being so 2005.
Re: Almsot POINTLESS!
Get a different FB app, then. There are plenty, and the other TWO I use let me know when I get a message, and I reply, and it works well. Do some research photoboy.

Sounds like a failure already. No TALK? I will have to HAX0RFIE is.
Re: No thanks Blackberry for the Win
BB/RIM did make a cool new phone. It's called the Storm. It's just a piece of ****, that's all.
BB = LOL.
Re: Congradulations T-Mob, you are now selling an expensive antique
tmo IS getting the incredible. make sure you can read.
hit engadget on UPDATE 2 (costco)
Re: Very excited!
I am interested, but if this is a CDMA only device(s), then there is little to get excited about.
Re: You're all fools
Dude, can I work for you?
Great
Now, if the other carriers would follow suite! (Hello Tmo). :D
Re: Egg phone?
Hahahaaaaaaa! I think they are calling this the "turtle".
Explode
is what my brain just did. There is no much sickening technology coming out in the mobile space. We are building a Terminator, and do not even know it.
Bring back ROBOCOP!
No, I don't know what I'm saying.
Re: Thank you FCC...NOT!!!
If you read the article (I am not saying you did not) you will see that t-mobile/DT is tryign to raise bank funds to spin t-mobile off to buy regional carriers in the US as a merger to make them larger, therefore more profitable on their own. I Also, there are talks about Comcast partnering with tmo, and I would NOT put it past Google to put a stake in this either.
Re: Hmmmmm...
The problem is, AT&T's 3G sucks... so they can just prove that with this option of trying to pass voice over their network.
Re: April 30th
It has been mentioned January, but that doesnt make sense, I guess to the confidentiality date. I did hear Q1, so April 30th seems a bit late. Who knows... but I am certainly looking forward to more info, videos, and spec leaks :)
Re: ive had mspot for a long time
Like "wow" a long time for you is "two months!" That's two billing cycles, and $12 later. it also sounds like you dont use the service much either..
Re: GOT IT
It did come with copy and paste at release, although now it is across the entire platform - most noteably the webbrowser, which allows, select as well, just like mobile safari and mobile chrome.
