Thanks Ron47 -- Q: Did you notice if they offered a re-flash back to the old firmware that has MP3, or is there some sort of compatability issues? I wasn't able to get over there yet, too busy. -Steven (So.California)

I've read in another forum that the WMA format can be replaced with MP3 format by re-flashing the software at a properly equipped Verizon shop. I haven't verified this claim yet however, I'm heading that way tomorrow and I plan on asking. I don't want to library separate formats of the same music.

Ebay should net you about $200 if you still have all the original stuff too.

Absolutely! Personally I have two choices for plugging the memory cards to my PC's since their incorporated with built-in card reader slots however, I also have a universal card reader that uses a USB plug, it works great even on my older slower USB PC's. The default music folder is My_music on the card. PS Folks: I've heard that Verizon can re-flash the phones bios to use MP3 rather than WMA. Haven't verified that yet, but I'm heading that way tomorrow :)
