Sprint was offerning this during a free test period earlier in the year. Its a pretty neat idea. Sometimes you dont want to get caught up in a conversation and so a text message does the trick(same as if you where sending a text to a cell phone). Doesnt sound to bad either.

Well it looks as if today they have changed there mind on the other forum I linked earlier. They now say no EVDO on the 6600...This sounds to me like the 8400 is now better than the 6600 but nothing better than whats out. Doesnt but we will have to wait until REAL info comes out.

I have heard simular info except for the sanyo 6600, it will be a high end phone with 2.2" screen, expandable mem, EVDO and other stuff(3 colors) here is a link to the info I found. Sounds more legit than new guy. I am excited

I hope I can help. I have a MM9000 and have noticed that you can infact see the music files on the card. The are stored in a music folder on the card. You can not load these files from the media player. They can only be played through the music player. If you connect the phone to the computer using the included cable and browse its contents, you will find a music ...

I got one!!! Found a mm9000 at a radio shack and snatched it up.... I did find out that the phone is NOT discontinued. I know people are saying it is, but IT IS NOT. The phone was pulled from the web because there is no stock. Contacted sanyo and they said shipments are on back order. I live in the Atlanta area and I'm trying to find this phone but its gone. Nobody has it in stock and they cant tell me if/when they will get any. Maybe it is discontinued. Anybody have some inside scoop on the replacement for this phone, or am I jumping to conclusions

I know you can record video with this phone and save it to the memory card, but is there a way to import or play video you have put on the card?
