OK, it's working.
If there any other 9300 owners using the BlackBerry Connect (BIS) on t-mobile? I want to compare notes.
BlackBerry support for t-mobile
I have a Cingular branded 9300b which I unlocked and currently have t-mobile service. I just signed up for the unlimited BlackBerry package.
Does anyone know how to configure this phone for t-mobile BlackBerry support?
(I'm trying to go through different levels of support at t-mobile, but haven't found anyone there who can help me yet.)
Re: Unlock the Nokia 9300???
You're welcomed! Glad I could help.
Re: Unlock the Nokia 9300???
Try unlock123.com--$5.
Is your phone currently locked to Cingular USA? If you do try unlock123.com, could you report back here? Thanks.
No lens cover?
Is the lack of a lens cover a problem? Isn't the plastics covering the lens going to get scratched, etc. and effect image quality? Eric, do you think this is a problem?
Also, is there plastic covering the screen? I hope not. I carry my Nokia phone in my pocket, without a case, and it's a real hassle to periodically remove the dust from behind the screen.
What about the Nokia 9300 or 9300i?
Any info? I will sign up new contract with t-mobile soon as t-mobile offers these phones (prefer 9300i, but will take 9300). Thanks.
Video viewing question ...
Did he watch the video in portrait or landscape mode? Do you know if the phone support landscape mode video viewing? Thanks.
$5.99 T-Mobile Web?
Are you refering to the $5.99 "T-Mobile Web" option? Does this include MMS as well? I see a separate t-mobile $14.99 package for unlimited messaging. How do you send photos from your phone--are you sending MMS message? Thanks in advance.
Release dates for Nokia 9300 and Nokia 6230i?
Any info on Cingular release dates and prices for these two phones? (Sorry for the off topic question.)
Prices ...
The guy at the store said he didn't have firm pricing info. He thought it would probably go for around $200 or so, with a contract. But again, he didn't have firm prices yet.
I agree that the feature set on this phone is outstanding.
San Mateo, CA Cingular store said it's coming ...
in a couple of weeks. I was told this yesterday. He also confirmed that the 6682 would be available soon as well.
Interesting that the 6230i isn't even mentioned at the Nokia USA web site. Someone at Nokia US needs to get on the ball.
