Verizon LG 4650 questions
1. when I charge my phone, the front screen stays lit at all times, until i unplug the phone from the charger. is this normal?

I have read numerous posts here and elsewhere but am still confused. I have a LG 4650 verizon phone and want to synch contacts/calendar and upload ringtones to my phone. I am still debating on buying a kit from Wireless on Ebay (http://snipurl.com/iw3h) but am unsure now based on what others have said- http://snipurl.com/iw3j .
I heard buying a Verizon Mobile Office Kit (http://snipurl.com/iw3q) for the 6100 or 7000 may work. Any know about this? thank you

LG 4650 data cable 2 CDs?
i know there have been several posts re: the 4650 data cable and where to buy etc. this ebay seller (http://snipurl.com/h5ri) is selling a CD and cable for $20 with shipping, but then saw elsewhere that i may need 2 CDs (driver CD and software CD). is this true? i'd rather not buy it from the seller if i still need a 2nd CD. i saw the mention of a 2nd CD at http://www.accessorygeeks.com/lg-vx6100-data- cable.html

that's cool, glad we cleared it up. So, since you were thinking of the 6000, does that mean "The 6100 speaker phone and voice command functions " CAN possibly BE AS GOOD AS the 6100?...
Also, were you thinking of the 6000 with the camera as well? if so, is the 6100 camera good enough?
And last but not least, were you thinking of the 6000 with speaker phone as well? IF so, can you use the speaker phone ...

sweet! thanks...you just sold me on keeping the 4650, but i am a bit confused...you said the 6100 is not tri-mode, but on the LG and werizonwireless sites it states it is tri-mode but NOT dual band. i looked into the defintions of dual band and tri-mode but am still not understanding. cheers again

i see what you mean TMBS, but i jsut got the phone 2 weeks ago and do not have a headset and figured the speaker would be ok.
i'm curious, do you have a wireless headset? if not, i cannot see driving with a wired headset going to my phone and hooked to my visor all that comfortable or safe...i'm not being funny, just curious

when you say "digital dial", you don't mean push the buttons or do you mean VOICE dial?

thanks so much...so essentially, with no headset, voice dialing (calling out) is pointless since i need to open the phone anyway, correct? do you know if this hold true for the 65100 as well?

Is there a way to voice dial calls when the phone is closed? i know i can do "drive mode", which seems pointless for calling if i have to open the phone anyway- if i open the phone the phone i might as well speed dial the person. I am aware of receiving calls on drive mode, but i am interested ...
