I think so. Maybe less of a downgrade and more of a, "Hey, we re-released the same phone but it's cheaper!" kind of move. I have the a990 and the literature says 3.2MP. I think Samsung has a 5.0MP cam-phone that they're working with VZW on now. Maybe VZW is trying to scoop up those cusotmers that wanted the a990 but couldn't afford it. I'm a camera fan so VZW won't get my attention ...

You can get 25% off once every 12 months and it does require a two-year contract. If you just got the LG-VX9800, you're out of luck on that line.

If you want a Q and a line of service under your business name, there is no minimum line attainment requirement. Call 1-800-922-0204 and ask for the name/number of your local business rep. They work on commissioin and would be happy to sell you one. If you'd like to begin receiving a monthly discount, the minimum line attainment is 5 and will get you 6%.
Re: motorola e815 or lg vx8100?
Moto is a good brand but their software tends to be buggier than LG's. I would go with the LG and bet that you would be happier and less likely to experience problems.

Yeah, tough to guess the release dates. My first guess is they'll release it in the fall for the X-mas season. Second guess is it gets released as a summer phone in late June/July.

Maybe you meant to say something else, because what you wrote isn't true. In fact, I'm not aware of any CDMA phone LG makes that doesn't worked, clamshell closed, with a standard 2.5mm hands-free. I've used from the VX-10 forward.
