Re: Verizon finally concedes to Apple
"memo" the exact words that you just said was put out by Cingular in 2003 going from tdma to gsm. But your trust for verizon seems endless so I will just sit back and see what the remaining 2/3 Verixon users will do.
Re: Verizon finally concedes to Apple
The vocie/data is a huge thing and only a Verizon user would not understand the multitasking possibilities.
Verizon will upgrade their network and will go through same process as AT&T went through going from TDMA to GSM....
Re: Verizon finally concedes to Apple
"Memo" you are bit confused and you do know everything about cell technology... Nothing wrong with that.
People do care, especially iPhone users that AT&T have now. They wont settle for a second phone to be able to multitask voice and data. You are referring to 4G which would be LTE according to your high level of knowledge. That will be starting to build out in 2011 so you would have to have an iPhone that will be able ...
Re: Verizon finally concedes to Apple
Couple of issues that Verizon needs to fix before iPhone will be available...
Be able to talk and do data at the same time.
Be able to use the iPhone in the rest of the world when traveling.
Is there any VZ hot-spots out there?
I wonder if Vodaphone in Europe has the iPhone?
Some thoughts for VZ tech dep....
Test drove it today
I tested the Garmin Nuvi today. Great phone with fast system and nice size.
The screen is sharp and clear. Love the SMS part with sending your current location with link to Garmin maps in a text msg. It is superior to AT&T nav based on maps and speed. I would almost want to use it instead of my iPhone for while... :) :)
PS there is no other phone on the market today that I would want ...
Re: My worst nightmare
there was cell phones and then came the iPhone. Nothing comes close to iPhone.
Re: Well who will this phone be for....
The phone will be for Cingular I am sure.
Re: impressed with the new SE line
Sprint/Nextel beware
Re: impressed with the new SE line
The SE guy stated that when you start up iTunes it will recognize the w600. I hope what he states is true????
Re: impressed with the new SE line
I have played with the SE W600 and what I understand it will be compatible with iTunes. Lot more memory then s710. Its going to be priced same as s710. the s710 will cease to exist after q4. The W600 best part is that it will be quad band. I also believe it will have class10 edge. Its going to be one hot item.
Re: SX66: can I use it to surf the net w/o a data plan on my minutes?
The Media works is the best choice for 19.99 however you can not send emails from other ISP. You can receive emails though from any provider as long as you have pop, smtp, user id and passw. If you want to use other ISP email servers you need the PDA unlmtd for 39.99.
Re: Insurance
I can assure that Cingular will not insure any PDA and Mot V3. Please take insurance elsewhere. Will save you a lot of headache. Lockline insurance will not honnor insurance on PDA's....
Re: Fantastic Case!
I have ordered one. Viva Espania!!!!!
Re: The Official SX66 update!
I did the update. Went ok and new bluetooth upgrade 3500 is in and all is working with my mot 810 headset. Sync went fine and i deleted old backup...VERY IMPORTANT...Delete old backups.
Re: Shedding light on Xpress Mail and MediaNet
I would go with the $39.99 unlmtd for a full billing cycle and check how much you use on your bill. If you use less then 5mb then change to lower package on next b-cycle..
Re: E-mail Setup for Cingular
