Re: Hold the flames...
Yeah you do have choices! You can get a piece of crap made by; Samsung, Sony, HTC, Sanyo, LG, Pantech, etc. Then they'll just come out with an upgrade to the phone you just got 2 months later, but you want the better version with the extended battery? LTE? Upgraded Android version? Sorry you have to wait 2 years. Good luck getting software updates after one year on that device too.
Hold the flames...
but this is exactly why I'm done with Android.
Seriously no offense to Android owners, but a flagship replacing a 2 month old flagship is just rediculous.
Sad
I wish I could edit my review. My signal went from acceptable to pathetic. Sunday I completely lost signal when 3 other people with my with Verizon had 3-4 bars and my 3G disconnected for about 30 minutes. Had to do a battery pull and it still wasn't too stable afterwords. Also, in the music app when I adjusted the equalizer the phone would lock up completely and I would have to do a battery pull (this happened 3 ...
Re: the OS shouldn't really matter
They will...the reason I am keeping the GNex is that it will be first in line for updates and like you said it has almost no bloatware.
Re: Just letting everyone know...
Just an update...google is giving you $10 for signing up for google wallet. I tried it out today and it worked flawlessly. Very impressive and I'm hoping the technology catches on. :)

Fair enough. But for someone to say that the GNex isn't a high end smartphone based on the camera alone is quiet unfair, as everyones ideal phone is different.
Just letting everyone know...
There is an Google Wallet .apk available now. You can download it right to the phone and install as 3rd party app. :D
Re: Maybe you need to look at other phones for comparison
I'm sorry but a phones camera is not a deciding point for me. I have over 3k in camera equipment so when I pull out my phone for pictures I am not wanting to make adjustments or use gimmicky anti-shake with a wide angle lens. 13 scene modes is a bit excessive and I think the average user would probably just rather not use any than choose between 13. I've sold cameras in the past and the ones with ...
Re: Saw The Phone Today...VERY Disappointed
As for all the camera complaints...if you want a full feature camera go buy a digital SLR. Anti-shake on a phone camera? Really??? The camera on phones is suppose to be for moments when you don't have a camera available but want to take a quick photo for rememberance or Facebook. I'm not going to use my phone for my next photo shoot or wedding so why would I need 10 different scene modes, anti-shake, IOS adjustments, etc...
