Re: better than the z6tv?

is this any better than the z6tv in terms of call quality and battery life?
There is a thread on this topic over on Howardforums.com - according to an "inside source", this phone has better call quality and reception than any recent Motorola phone. So far, my experience has been very positive - equal to or better than the Z6tv I had.

No Camera version coming
Hey folks -
There is a NO CAMERA version of this phone coming in the next couple of weeks..........
Looks identical in pics (testman.verizonwireless.com) but appears to have a metal plate in place of the camera. Still keeps the flashlight it appears!
Great for those of us who cannot have cameras at work!!!!!!!

Re: Battery
I checked my Krzr extended battery in the new Q9m (which is the same as the original Q extended battery) - it fit and works fine. I read somewhere that the new Q extended is 1680mAh, while the old one is 1640mAh - so the difference should be nothing behind the extended battery door.

Re: 8703e and voice commands
Answers -
1 - I do not believe that there is any voice command function, software or otherwise, for any Blackberry, with the exception of the Pearl.
2 - You can set up your POP e-mail through the Blackberry Internet Service website (I am using POP this way. It gives me the choice of sending through your company BES server or personal POP accounts. You should call your carrier if you don't know about this and tell them you ...
BB 7520 - my first impressions
Hi,
I just received my 7520 yesterday - looks very nice, somewhat of a charcoal color. The battery door from my 7510 fit fine (although, while the black 6510 door also fit, it was a hair different in color). All of my cases for the 7510 fit the 7520 perfectly. I like the screen and two-stage white backlighting. The illuminated keys are a nice touch too. I don't know if the bezel (around the screen) ...
Re: Purchased v260 -my first impressions
Bob,
Since the only connector on the phone is the standard Motorola jack on the bottom (no external USB anywhere) the only way I could see a USB connection is using the Motorola USB data cable.
I don't know how you would connect to Cox with the phone, so I would suggest calling Verizon's Data Support people to inquire -just call customer service and ask to be transfered (I believe CS is 80o-900-0204).
I think there is a real need ...
Purchased v260 -my first impressions
Hello again fellow geeks!
I just purchased a Motorola v260 for one of my employees. I bought it a Radio Shack on Friday afternoon and they only had one. I played around with it Friday night and shipped it to the user on Saturday morning, therefore I cannot send you pics or check anything for you, but I wanted to post my opinions of this one.
The phone seems to be about the same size as the v60, maybe a touch ...
Re: Vx6100 shipped
I'm in Washington State. The number I called is 877-873-9056 (option 3) for existing orders). I don't know if this number is good for your area or not.
Vx6100 shipped
:D
I just got off the phone with VZW Internet order support and they gave me tracking numbers for the three 6100's I ordered. I had them confirm that these are really 6100's and the order states that they are. I then checked the FedEx site and they really did ship and are due here by 430pm Thursday. I'll update more tomorrow.

Kenstee - I posted my info since I don't know where you are and, since my order went through I wanted to share this info with others. After I read your post, I called to see if this was only in an isolated area ...

Well, I called telesales and they say my order did go through and will stay in the system and ship as soon as they start shipping.
ordered this morning
Hello all,
Just wanted to let you know that the vx6100 is on the Verizon Site here in the Seattle area (98122). I just ordered three 6100's online and all the orders processed fine. When I called the local VZW stores and VZW customer service none of them had any stock or available date, so online looks like the best bet for now.
