I completley agree with wanting the market to be more balanced. However the reason tmobile was selling was because they were lossing money. So if the government says no tmobile will still disapear.

I completely agree with you. That is the one thing I tell all my customers. If you want a phone that you can completely customize to suit yourself than go with an android. If you just want your phone to work and not have to worry about it than get an iphone. 9 times out of 10 they go with an android.
Also on a side not almost all of the customers that come into my store with an iphone4 ...

Its not that hes being lazy its just that he doesn't have the ability to help them. I work at a Radioshack and I get those customers all the time ( when they break there phone and when there phone needs to factory reset) The truth is that 3rd party retailers are not given all the capabilities as a corporate store...... However are prices are lower :D
