There are plenty of haters for the iPhone out there. Just as there are haters for all the Android phones. And most of the people you are talking about "jumping" to buy an iPhone if/when it comes to Verizon, they're not hating the iPhone, they are hating AT&T and the way they shaft their customers with a high bill to make up for how cheap they are selling the iPhones and how their network is crap in MOST ...

You'll only be doing video calling if you have access to WiFi at the time. And if you expect that to change anytime soon... take a look at how long it took AT&T to let you tether your phone...
Was anyone shocked or surprised by the new iPhone?
I was expecting some bells and whistles that weren't found on the "lost" iPhone. From what I've see and heard. Nothing really that new, especially Jobs trying to make it sound like he gave birth to yet another Messiah. And it was funny that the WiFi went out during the demo. I don't really think the issues right now is how fast 4G is, I beleive it has to do with the carrier. I have Sprint and got the EVO on launch day. I love my phone. I've been with Sprint for over 7 years and they have improved so much. I never really had any issues to start but they have expanded to cover pretty much everywhere I go. I'm sure the iPhone is great, it's just unfortunate that ...

I love it. I had the HERO so I am familiar with the Android software... LOVE the huge screen. The phone it's self is a little bigger than any phone I've ever had but I'm already use to that. So far, best phone I've ever had!

Not sure if you are talking about me giving inaccurate info, and if u are, I'm not sure what that is. Best Buy price matched me today. Have the receipt to prove it! They were gonna charge me $599. The store manager came over to approve it and said, "damn, we are really screwing people over." Thanks Best Buy for the $150 price drop! I love my EVO!!!

It works.. I've tried it... You have to do this on your PC and it will download to your phone.

Give it a try, won't cost you anything if you don't like it. Sprint has the 30 day money back deal... But honestly, I've had Sprint for 7 years and never had a big problem with them. Your bill would be cheaper with Sprint.

I think it depends on the Sprint store. I know the ones around here are not doing that but in an EVO group on Facebook there was a pic posted of dozens of EVO's from a partial shipment at a Sprint store that was doing preorders. I believe it's too late to preorder from Best Buy or Radio Shack. I think the last day was 05/31/10. I'm sure if you get to a store early you could get one. ...

I called Best Buy last week about this. If you pay retail for it, there is NO contract extension or renewal. Each Best Buy I'm sure is different on the price you pay. I told them that Sprint and Radio Shack are both selling for $449 and they said they would price match it. But you won't get the $100 rebate unless you are eligible for and upgrade

Does anyone think that when Verizon and AT&T roll out their 4G that they are not gonna charge any extra? Hope you have a good cell phone, because if you don't want to pay the fee, you're gonna have to keep it for quite a while.

Services will always be upgrading whether u want them to or not. Everyone knows that you have to go with the flow or be left out. And if u think this is so bad, what do u think about the people that HAVE to pay $30 extra just to have the iPhone? I'm gladly gonna pay $10 x 2 (getting 2 Evo's), because I know I'm still paying less than the suckers with the other carriers and that 4G ...
Apple's just bitter...
Apple is just getting pissed that the focus is not all on them anymore. They were in the spot light for so long and now the have to share it. I've had 2 HTC phones and loved both, currently have the Hero from Sprint.
Just something to think about here too... Since AT&T is starting to sell Android based phones and Apple is acting like a spoiled brat... does anyone think this is the year that Apple tries to ...
