Apple iPhone 4 (GSM)
Was anyone shocked or surprised by the new iPhone?
I was expecting some bells and whistles that weren't found on the "lost" iPhone. From what I've see and heard. Nothing really that new, especially Jobs trying to make it sound like he gave birth to yet another Messiah. And it was funny that the WiFi went out during the demo. And to all the iPhone lovers out there, I'm not hating on the iPhone. There are some things that I like about it. But, I already have a phone that can do video calls, has an 8MP camera, multi tasks, tethering... I like the resolution on the screen but I think my screen looks great and it's 4.3".

Is that what we have to look forward to in the next 5 years? People trolling on every post that isnt their phone?
We get it, the EVO has better specs. Fine, be happy and stay away from this forum. You're adding zero value and just trying to start a flame war.
Not everyone wants a HUGE phone, And the iphones 5MP may take better pictures that the EVOs 8MP, you don't know. Mega pixels arent everything.
The new iphone is a really nice upgrade, and Its nice to have competition, but we dont need to have a pissing contest everytime a new phone comes out.

I was a little shocked at the redesign of the shell. I was pretty sure Apple was going to stick to their guns as far as the make of the device. Pretty cool features. I want to see it in action before I pass judgement on it though.. Like hands on experience. It looks pretty sweet.. The resolution seems alot high with the super screen it has.. All screen shots that ive seen of photos taken with this phone are crazy clear.. The EVO is just a little too wide for me.. Too pulky and cumbersome. Still its a pretty hot device yet I was suprised at how slow Sprints "4G" network was however... I took the phone back within a week...

The Evo is perfect for me size wise since I have huge hands so it perfect for me. One thing that came to mine when I saw the iPhone I thought it kinda looked like the original 80gb zune. With its square shape.

My hands are pretty big as well still increased responsiveness goes alot further to me than increased size.. I dont like holsters so Im a pocket jockey.. so 4.3" is a bit extreme

when they 'revealed' the new IPHONE it was like a huge let down. android is reapdly eating crApples lunch and it will only get worse for them, they aren't turning and burning enough; the end is in sight.
