There are plenty of haters for the iPhone out there. Just as there are haters for all the Android phones. And most of the people you are talking about "jumping" to buy an iPhone if/when it comes to Verizon, they're not hating the iPhone, they are hating AT&T and the way they shaft their customers with a high bill to make up for how cheap they are selling the iPhones and how their network is crap in MOST not ALL area's. I did want an iPhone, but since it wasn't available to me, I didn't get one. I have Sprint and I'm happy with them. I'm on my second Android phone and I'm loving them. Started with version 1.5 now have 2.1 and will soon have 2.2 which will give me the ability to save my apps on the SD card and move them from phone to phone wh...

I'm not an Iphone hater, but it amazes me nobody here sees the deal breaker the way do. If I'm not wrong, there is still no replaceable battery for the Iphone. So, when your down on the charge, you'd better be tethered to an AC outlet or your S.O.L.

If the Iphone were finished in 18kt gold, I'd pass on it because of that bummer limitation alone. Nothing like a dead battery when you really need to use the device!

So, that being the case, I'm going to have to suffer with the other 32 million Blackberry users and abusers. I just pop-in a new battery & the meter reads full charge. Do they have an app for that? ☹️

I would absolutely love to see some links proving what you're saying.

You do realize that Apple approached Verizon first, don't you?

I really can't see the iPhone having any problems at all on Verizon's network.

mostly verizon android users? I don't quite understand this. What does the carrier have to do with anything?

I'll never switch to an iPhone. I've played with several iPhones and i really don't see all the hype about them. I currently use a Moto Droid and enjoy all the features of the moto much more than anything i've found from the iPhone so far.

Plus, apple sucks.

The biggest drawback of the iphone is the hardware. Every generation of the iphone is 2-3 years behind the offerings of HTC and Nokia.

Next, The Apple Store: They force you to go through the apple store so they can make money. This often keeps you from getting the best apps possible. With Symbian anyone can use any app they want and they can get it from anywhere they want. S60 phones have thousands of free and for purchase apps available from thousands of sources.

Nokia now offers free guided navigation on all of their GPS phones. How bout Apple and AT&T?

Finally, no OS does multi-tasking as well as Symbian has done for 5+ years. And they're getting better.

I'm waiting for the N8.
