For those of you who have this phone does it have a security feature like the motorola droid to put in before you can use the phone to prevent someone else from using your phone. If not does it have some type of password feature that does the same. Thanks for the info am getting this phone in a couple of weeks but I like this feature on the motorola droid.

It is a good phone for messaging and the touch works really well. I am not sure why we cannot get over the air updates on this phone. When it first came out it was supposed to but never has been able to. The internet really is nice since it got updated to the new bowser. it does restart sometimes just like any other LG phone but not too bad. What I would suggest is going into the store ...

Yea I heard but do you know of any changes? The only thing I heard it is supposed to do is to help with the phone cutting off but that would be good.

The only thing I noticed is the browser. Its is worth the update just for that it makes the touch closer to a a smart phone. When using the browser now the web looks much better and it might just be me but the touch seems to be more accurate.

its like a QWERTY keyboard that pops up on the bottom of the screen while the web page is still pulled up. Its really nice also it seems to make the touch more accuarte.

There is a new update out and it would be version vx11kv08. The only thing I see that changed would be the browser and thats big in my book. It now uses the Polaris Browser 7.0, and if you use the internet at all you will love it. It now has like a HTC key board that pops up on the lower half of the screen to type in. Question 1 threaded messages works really good but as far as the phone remembering words that are not already in the phone it will for a day or so then it seems to forget.
Question 2 the volume depends on the ring tone that you select but none of them are real loud due to the speakers being on the inside of the phone.

You can use this link or lgmobile.com. It will instruct you on updating your phone. It will ask what type of phone and you go from there. You can also get it updated at your verizon store. The update only took about 15 minutes at the store.

Once you connect to a call there will be a square box with lines through it in the bottom right corner, click on that and the first option will be for the speaker phone. Hope this helps.

Update 07 is now available. It is on the LG web site or you can take your phone to a verizon store. The only thing I know that it updates is you can now use the speaker phone with the phone close which is a good update.

Just to let everyone know there is a new update available. It is VX1105, you can get it through LG but not verizon yet. Just thought I would pass it on. Dont know what it changes because I just done it this morning and have not had a chance to play with it yet.

I took the phone back to verizon and explained to them what was going on and they gave me a replacement battery and said if I had any other problems they would probably have to replace the phone. Sorry for not being able to respond sooner. Glad to hear you got it to work. I am going to have to do mine again because I had to return my phone and get a replacement due to the battery not holding a charge. Did you notice any changes.

The web site listed below will be the one you will need to go to. You will need to connect your phone to your computer with the USB cord that was provided with your phone. Down load the driver needed and follow the instructions. If you are referring to the ones in My Media shortcut you can just drag and drop them in the trash. You can do this by just pressing down and dragging it to the trash icon. This icon says "add" until you press and hold down on the one you are wanting to remove. Hope this helps.

Where did you get your extended battery from. I have went to many web sites and cannot find one. Also did you mean that the body glove case still fits when you have this battery on the phone. I must do something this battery is horrible.
Doc viewer
Does anyone know if you can view e-mail attachments such as word and excel doc. since the phone does read these types of files. I currently have the old voyager and when I try to open up these type of attachments in e-mail it will not open them.
EnV touch accelerometer
Does anyone know if the EnV touch will have a accelerometer on it or not. I would like to have this so I would not have to turn the phone sideways when I am on the Internet like you have to do with the current voyager.
