i think this is pretty sweet, besides the fact it looks like even this will have the bland & boring vzw UI. but what else is new? $35/month doesn't seem like a bad monthly price either.

are you deleting messages, emails, browser history, etc.? because that uses up memory quicker then you would think.

i'm a little to lazy to read back through the whole forum, and i can't see on the specs if it allows you to do so. So my question is, will this phone allow me to do MMS?

thank you. i mean what about the motorola krave, env2, dare. those just generic boring phones? those are all recent releases as well. not everyone wants all this hi-tech, as my grandma would say "mumbo jumbo" on there phones, but at the same time i would never sell a vzw nokia, i always stay away from it unless customer insists on it.

verizon is doing it because why have a phone that your not going to utilize? a lot of people that buy these, buy them for there kids that think its "cool" and want a full keyboard, and other random stuff, they put a pay as you use plan on there, and next thing you know $500 bill because there kid didn't know that internet explorer used data, and other dumb crap like that. Its for the greater ...

verizon doesn't "lock down" there blackberries too much it seems. they just like to always put one of there ugly themes on every phone that they can.

thats false, just cause it makes a click noise means nothing. blackberry is the first phone with surepress technology actually, which is what there claiming, which happens to be true.

a lot of manufacturers know the full potential of their devices. also choosing to somewhat cripple them, but now in the heat of getting something out to compete with apple we'll start seeing more and more devices released that will put up a fight, and eventually, maybe not tomorrow, but eventually, there will be one.

well first off my 80-year old grandma would not even know where to start on either one, no matter how much easier it "might" be on the iphone. all i'm saying is just wait, don't be so quick to judge the fact that there will be no iphone killer. maybe the storm isn't the one to do it, but it'll be the closest thus far, and phones will only continue to grow in technology. as will ...

never be an Iphone killer? you just hold on till the storm buddy boy. i do agree with you on the fact that if the iphone would not have dropped, i dont know if the would the storm would be coming out. i believe it would have still came out, just not near as fast as it did. the iphone was a pioneer, i'll give you that, but it's not the greatest phone in the ...

ahh.. makes sense, we've been needing a few more phones capable of doing so anyways, i've always felt that only offering two phones that had that feature was kinda a bummer for our international travelers. i wish LG would come out with something for us with those capabilities.

i think quite a few people will pass on the storm, because you are correct in saying to each his own. everyone is saying "wow, touchscreen blackberry" not realizing they probably won't use a fourth of the features on it. thats why these other new phones coming out are a great addition. but i do agree it will be verizon's flagship phone for awhile, its just not a phone thats for everyone.
