why alltel?
they are going to be swallowed up by vzw in a matter of a cople months anyway....why not just pust it on vzw's network now?
...
I imagine it's because Verizon's holiday line up is extremely strong and they probably don't have room for this POS.
...
that's a good point... it kind of brings to mind all the questions as to why Sprint keeps releasing iDEN phones.
Sprint isn't killing the network, or selling it right now, so why wouldn't they try to keep the network growing?
Same arguement for Alltel; the deal isn't 100% done yet, so might as well operate as if it isn't going through...
...
Its not 100% done yet but didnt the fcc & doj approve the merger? Some people are taking advantage of having Alltel features (my circle unlimited nights before 9pm)that will end up on Verizon's network. Why not do it on a crappy motorola? 😉
...
Sprint is selling a lot of iDEN phones because i think a major part of Nextel ppls 2 year are up this time of year, so they are trying to keep them for another 2 years, then the iDEN phone will die down and Sprint phones will pick back up... just a thought.

Verizon already has a phone identical to this one. It is called the Audiovox Blitz. It is a piece of crap.
...
yea, but its good for young teens who want a phone for texting and all.
the ones who arnt worryed about internet and all.
...
I'm not "worryed" about the internet, I just don't need it. I'm also not a teen and I happen to love the Blitz. For what I need and what it does, I've been very happy. No gimmicks, no lag, no bull^&%%.. It just works.

i completely agree, just woulda been nice if wasnt that IMO terrible looking blue plastic. a rubberized finish woulda been nice on it.
