using phonebook w/ Vision
I'm new to Sprint and need some assistance:
I've been testing some of the Vision-based capabilities (SMS, PCS Mail and Web portals) and couldn't figure out how to access my phonebook. When you're connected to web-based services should you be able to access your Menu and/or Phonebook; and if so, how?
If not, how do you work around this?
message confusion
I'm a Sprint "newbie" and am confused and disappointed by Sprint's messaging facilities ... they weren't what I expected ... but I understand that changes (improvements?!?!) are coming. I'd like to better understand the messaging systems out there ... can anyone recommend where I can get info on the various standards (including the newer ones: EMS & MMS)?
Re: Sanyo customer support
The question was asking if it was normal for the LiIon type batteries to feel warmer during extended usage than the old-type (NiHy)cellphone batteries. My email never suggested that the phones were defective or that I was making a warranty claim, only that was new to LiIon batteries and unsure if what I was experiencing was ...
Sanyo customer support
I emailed Sanyo's Customer Support a general question about the operation of their phones and received a response telling me that all support is handled by Sprint. While researching my cellphone purchase I contacted a number of manufacturers and Sanyo was the only one who refused to answer my questions!
Here's a brain-twister: If they refer all their tech support questions to Sprint then why does their website even have a section for cellular support? Wouldn't it make more sense ...
cellphone gets warm in use
A few weeks ago, we purchased two Sanyo cellphones (4900 & 8100) and have noticed that during use, especially longer periods of use (20+ min. calls) they get "warm." The warmth is located mostly in the battery but is also noticeable in the screen area. Our previous cellphones (Nokia)didn't do this but they used a different type of battery ... is there anything wrong with our phones or is this "natural" with the newer LiIon type batteries?
