hold the home button down until the app disappears. i doubt it'll do much for your battery, though. try turning off 3G, location services, and wifi.

Here's the deal: I've had this phone for three weeks now and have not had one stinkin' problem with it. Sure, the battery life could be longer, so buy a flippin' car charger and shut up. everything else is working perfectly. maybe some of the complainers out there got a bad piece of hardware, it happens, but i read the same crap before i got the Moto Q, BB Pearl, and the Curve, and guess ...

VPU...do you have anger mgt. issues? I've had the iPhone for three weeks now and have not had ONE problem with it. How do you explain that??? You really need to find something better to do with your time than get all worked up about a phone.

Don't believe the negative hype...
I've had this phone for about two weeks now, and it's the best phone I've ever owned...and I've had all the "smartest" ones out there.
Battery life is not that bad if you turn off the things you don't need. It's a simple task, and it makes a big difference. As far as crashes go, none to speak of. I honestly think that everyone bad-mouthing it either doesn't even own one, or they've unlocked it and stuffed ...
