Exactly. There's no reason why they shouldn't! WP's market share is growing: http://www.trutower.com/2013/05/16/ idc-smartphone-marketshare/ WP's market share is rivaling the iPhone in Russia and many other markets. Google is just being petty because they're afraid of the threat. And it's ultimately the consumers who pay. :?

Yeah she should be fired. I wouldn't quit an amazing company like T-Mobile over one rep though. And you might want to call CS. She had to have left notes in your account if she was doing her job right. They'd be able to report her. That cannot be tolerated. I know many reps were upset over the AT&T buyout looming, so it caused them unnecessary stress and rightly so. I would be too if I was close to losing ...

May 28, 2011, 1:00 AM

I'm an AT&T supervisor and that sounds like something we would say  AT&T is behind because they choose to be. There is no spectrum shortage. They have more than any other carrier and could have deployed LTE by now. Everyone who does research knows that. Sure the iPhone caused some problems, but those were fixed with the repurposing of the 850 mhz spectrum. Now I think they're waiting as a ploy to get the FCC and DOJ to approve their ...

I know how that goes. I'm a supervisor for AT&T (yeah I know), and trust me, it's affected our morale as well. People tend to think that the merger only effects T-Mobile employees when in fact we're in the same boat. If AT&T buys T-Mobile, they could very well decide that they don't need some of their call centers and swap a smaller AT&T call center for a larger T-Mobile one or anything along those lines. As not only an AT&T ...

Most people are sheep who would rather be sheep than think for themselves and take the necessary action to be happy customers. They need something to complain about. The Gods forbid they learn how to use their phones properly or do research before jumping on to a carrier who has more data traffic than it can handle. And once they're on said carrier, they're too damn lazy (or stupid) to move to another carrier. They just "want it to work NOW" ...

iPhone customers in general are self-righteous idiots anyway for the most part. They seem to think they somehow live on a higher plain of existence than everyone else, where everything should be thin, shiny, and have the Apple logo plastered all over it.

Actually my girlfriend has it on her line because she is currently looking for a job, and it works really well. I don't need it on mine as all the numbers I'd ever need are in my address book, but the feature does find its place among business people and certain situations.

Coverage Issues With T-Mobile Dash 3G
Aug 4, 2010, 10:13 PM
in the T-Mobile forum

I've had the T-Mobile Dash 3G for awhile now, and it seems to have done okay when I first purchased it ("okay" being that there isn't 3G in my area yet  ). Recently, however, I've been experiencing some problems with it. I have to power cycle the phone at least twice a day because I lose connection with the EDGE network and I randomly drop calls (rarely, but irritating nonetheless). At first, I thought it was a device issue, ...

Re: T-mo & android
Apr 20, 2010, 5:36 AM
in the T-Mobile forum

Not to be mean, but why don't you build one yourself? T-Mobile has the HTC HD2, Nexus One, and a few other Android powered devices that are actually quite good. T-Mobile doesn't make the devices too much. They make the network the devices operate on. HTC and other manufacturers need to stop releasing and re-releasing the same crap with a different name for T-Mo. The unfortunate part about T-Mo is the fact that they need to learn how to advertise ...

The entire wireless industry is pretty much a giant soap opera :P I know how you feel, though, Azeron. I'm not sure what carrier you're "in love" with, but I would love to go back to T-Mobile. Unfortunately, due to equally complicated situations beyond my control, I am also stuck with Verizon.

Yeah really. It's like DUH... T-Mobile's 3G network has grown and is still growing by leaps and bounds. That being said, it would be nice to have a little bit of non-prejudice news. It seems like PhoneScoop does everything in its power to bash T-Mobile. That last line made my eyes go

Well that's good news :) I'm a big fan of T-Mobile and I'm glad to hear they're doing better. Where did you hear those numbers? However, I still don't understand how it's still right to charge that fee. Yeah, I understand there's some account maintenance involved, but that's every company, every plan. I mean, they never charged me from switching from the old T-Mobile plans to the myFaves plans when they first came out. I'm sure there ...

Doesn't sound like trolling to me. It sounds like a customer who is fed up with getting screwed over by Verizon. There seems to be a growing number of them. People are watching their dollars a lot more closely now.

Re: Amazed at Customers

That's true. I hope T-Mo is smart enough to realize that doing things like that is doing the opposite of what they're known for, great customer service. T-Mobile needs to take a closer look at the Even More/Even More Plus plan eligibility requirements, and at least allow customers who have been customers for a long time (say 2 years) the option to switch to them for free, while keeping their current fee requirements for those who have ...

You are forgetting that T-Mobile prorates the ETF. So three to six months left on the contract, your ETF goes down to $100. Less than three months, it's $50. So, by your year and a half calculation, it's $100 to break N1 contract, $170 for Droid. A $70 difference sounds really loud and clear to me.

Nov 22, 2009, 9:11 PM
in the T-Mobile forum

Unfortunately, that ends up being like 60-70% of the customer base for any company. People don't want to pay for anything anymore. They expect T-Mobile to eat up the price of the phone AND have dirt cheap plans. And THEN they'd complain about T-Mobile's lack of coverage because T-Mobile ate so much of the cost, they wouldn't be able to afford more towers and better coverage.

That's why ALL companies have that fine print that says something like "We cannot guarantee service under any circumstances" on their coverage map pages. Go ahead and look in your terms and conditions. It's right there too.

Re: Project Black......what a fizzle!!!
Nov 11, 2009, 2:31 AM

It does help to look at it from different perspectives. As an upcoming customer of T-Mobile (I'm currently with Verizon), especially since I plan on getting the BlackBerry Bold 9700, $22.50 a month for 20 months really makes it easy to get the phone I want at a not-so-hard-to-deal-with price, even if I'm paying more for it in the long run. It's just easier. But there are a lot of people who will save money switching ...

I'm not a T-Mobile employee. I'm not even with T-Mobile right now. I'm stuck with Verizon until my contract expires next year. I wasn't even meaning that in a bad way against people who go with AT&T. I was merely pointing out that anyone who wants to save money would be all for these plans and the 20 month payment plan.

If you think you're going to NOT have outages with another provider, then you probably don't know the cell phone industry very well. Yeah, they experienced a few problems recently, but you're going to leave T-Mobile after being with them for "a long long time" because of a couple of recent, unrelated outages? /;|

Ha, are you seriously that blind? Think about it. You're paying 99.99 IF YOU'RE GETTING A NEW PHONE. Whereas, if you decide to be a moron and go with AT&T, you're going to pay the 99.99 and PLUS you're going to have to pay for the new phone upfront.
