Not Impressed Really

in the Apple iPhone 5 (CDMA / global) forum

Most of the specs on the iPhone 5 still lag behind my Galaxy S3 :? .Since the iPhone is the only phone Apple makes, seems they would have made sure that it had the HIGHEST spec available in a phone, on launch date. The specs on the iPhone 5 trail behind Android phones that were released months ago. I can bet you that no GS3 or DroidRazr owners are gonna buy a lower spec phone. So I ...

Re: reviews contradictory

Yes. They were contradictory but only because the reviewers were comparing the X2 against two different phones. The first reviewer thought the X2 battery life was great because he came from a ThunderBolt, which is known for bad battery life. He thought the X2 battery life was great in comparison. The second reviewer came from a Droid-X and he is accustomed to good battery life. He thought the X2 battery life was short in comparison. Since the Droid-X and ...

I got the Droid-X the day it released and I love it. I agree that upgrading to the X2 is NOT worth it if you already have the Droid-X. I do not plan to upgrade until Verizon releases a decent LTE phone (possibly Motorola Targa). While waiting for a good LTE phone, I hope Verizon pushes the official 2.3 upgrade to the Droid-X.

Too Little - Too Late

A year ago (when I had a BB curve) I was patiently hoping and awaiting the day that Apple would release the iPhone to Verizon. Mid summer when I was due for a free upgrade, I bought the Droid X. I have since fell in love with the android platform and would not leave my Droid even if Verizon was giving away the iPhone for free. Apple waited to late to release the iPhone to Verizon because the majority ...

@Tomb1312, just who are the BB haters? I don't know any. Everyone loves Crackberrys. As I stated in my previous post, my last phone was a BB Curve until I upgraded to the HTC Incredible (Android), but I returned it for the Droid X (Android) because of the bigger screen. In fact, I waited and waited for Verizon to get the BB Bold because the BB Tour was crap. When the BB Bold finally released for Verizon I went ...

@ Tomb1312, you can't be serious? /;| Bow Down? AT&T? That is likes buying a 36 inch CRT tube TV and telling your friend who owns a 60 inch LED flat TV to bow down. I owned a BB Curve 8300 for over a year and it was a solid device and never failed me, but Blackberry is years behind Android technology. Stop hanging on to the past. Blackberry had a good run and RIM made a lot ...

Design Flaw?

in the Article: Nokia Statement Backs Apple's iPhone Defense forum

I think it is simply as excuse for a design flaw. This is hearsay and unverified as far as I know, but I have been told the iPhone4 internal antenna runs around the entire perimeter of the phone, except for a small empty spot about a ½ inch. This design works fine until you happen to place your finger on that empty spot, you finger now complete a full "circuit" and the signal degrades or drops altogether. I am ...
