Re: My intuition tells me...
I dont know about that.. I think marketing this under the "LG Shame" wouldnt be so bad.
Re: Verizon 4G deployment schedule
I'd be curious to know the answer to this as well. Same deal in my area. 20 miles north and 20 miles south 4G is up and running. But as Jimmy Eat World would say "The Middle" is still 3G
Re: Got a question for da Verison reps
He is asking us why our price plans are not comparable to "strait talk" which I can only assume is some sister company to "Straight Talk".
The best reason I can offer you is because Verizon offers a plethora of extra features and services as well as phones that don't look and operate like you got them from a cereal box.
Upcoming Holiday Phones?
As of today, I'm eligible for a 2 year upgrade and am about to make the switch from RIM to Droid, but am hesitant to jump in due to the upcoming holiday season. It seems Verizon likes to release quite a few phones between late November and mid December, so I'm afraid if I get a droid now, a better one will be out within a month and a half.
Does anyone know any phones that are in the ...
Re: New update for Pre: webOS 1.3.1 is OUT!
I think the few sprint customers left out there will be very stoked.
Go Android! (More specifically, the Eris!)
Title. I feel that the price difference and the manufacturing quality of the Eris (provided a software update becomes available shortly) will overshadow all the hype that the Droid is generating. Can't wait to play with them both on Friday is all I have to say! This might mean bye bye iPhone and welcome back to VZW. (Unless my ETF is going to be $350.00)
Re: New ETFs for data devices
So if it launches on the 7th, you have one week to remain on the cheaper ETF?
Re: Droid Reviews. Ouch~!
I didn't mean to bash VZW or anything like that... I fully agree with Menno, I wish HTC would go all out with the Android platform or better yet, let LG take a whack at it. I guess I've just lost nearly all faith in Moto with their recent batch of phones... they all are at least a little laggy. (Krave! haha)
Re: Droid Reviews. Ouch~!
Um why? I work for VZW, the whole iDont marketing tactic is just that... marketing. As far as performance, the iphone is still the better device minus the camera. Android in the future will issue a threat, but it will have to be made by someone other than Motorola. I'm curious to see how HTC fairs with the Eris.
It would be nice to see an android phone with no lag. That's the one thing motorola can NOT do... is ...
Motorola makes a laggy phone? No way.
Not suprising that moto can't manage to make a smooth running device... I always assumed it was the verizon OS.. but must be a moto processor issue... It's a shame, I'll wait for the HTC version.
Re: Quick, someone get Microsoft some ice...
Oh it was/is.
Re: iPhone Drops 30% of Calls In NYC???
True, but those numbers are still VERY unsettling... I mean 1 in 3 calls dropped is acceptable? No freaking way.
Re: Phone prices
Agreed, well said.
Re: VZW you’re making hard
Um. Why condemn yourself? Ha.
Is there anyway to manually update the carrier file?
I downloaded OS 3.1 and I'm trying to get my MMS working, but when I open itunes it never prompts me to update the carrier file.. is there a different way to do this?

Re: Jailbroken IiPhone
I'm in the exact same scenario vzwinagent... work for verizon, toting an iphone. haha. I do sincerely hope that big red reaches some agreement with apple though, my phone works less than half the places it used to now that i switched to ATT

Re: Any word on a replacement for the Boulder?
Looks similar but cleaner. Hopefully they fixed the goofy glitches in the Boulder... Im not so sure I condone a phone named after a wrestler though. Haha
Re: What YOU really meant to say:
Maybe if your company spent as much time on their network as you did creating that story, you wouldnt have over a million pissed off Iphone customers complaining that your sub-par network can't handle its star device. Just a thought.
Re: Any word on a replacement for the Boulder?
It's too flipshot-esque... Im really not so confident it can hold up.
Any word on a replacement for the Boulder?
With Casio discontinuing the Boulder, we are left without a waterproof phone (which in my area is a pretty high demand capability in a phone) Does anyone have any word on what they're developing to replace it?
Re: Fresh Hi-Res BB Tour Unboxing Pics!
Is the top half touch screen?
Silly HTC Touch 6900 Question.
Plain and simply... where does the memory card go? I have the verizon XV6900 and it says expandable memory on this site but I cant find where to put the card anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: I believe its something along the lines of
Pretty much just a gimmick. It gets internet, but can't send a picture message? Maybe you should cover the basics before going above and beyond.
Re: Sounded like a nice phone until...
Yes because then it will look that much better on verizon.
Re: Software Help!! 8700!
Help?
Re: what are the different manufacturers known for
It's pretty much been said but I'll reiterate a little bit based on what I have noticed in the store.
LG - Very responsive and very smooth running devices. Never really notice any lag or delays while going through the menus which make them great for texting and also for people who can navigate through the phone menus quickly. On some of the phones though they feel very very plastic-y and cheap. (8360, 5000 series)
Motorola - Slower processors = menu ...
Software Help!! 8700!
Ok so here is my scenario. I acquired an lg 8700 that has been flashed to Cricket. When the phone is powered up it shows no signal. I have tried using our little software update machine here in the store to no avail. Is there anything special that needs to be done in order to get the phone functioning on verizon again?
Re: Storm vs. Touch Pro
"minor lag issues" - minor understatement
Re: Samsung Alias 2 SCH-U750
You win this round good sir.
Re: Samsung Alias 2 SCH-U750
False. The Krave, Voyager and Dare can all do youtube.
ETA on our Blackberry Pearl Flip?
Anyone know any timeframe for the release of this? Now alltel and Cell South both have it, and it's featured in our new guides, but I cant find anything about a release date for Verizon. Any info would be appreciated.
Re: EnV touch accelerometer
Which is a feature that Verizon should have implemented in their messaging phones for months upon months now. The alias 2 can do it, but it's pretty jumbled.
Re: Samsung Alias 2 SCH-U750
A phone has to have an HTML browser to be able to stream youtube videos. So no, it cannot.
Re: Usable on Verizon?
There is one coming out for Verizon, just have to wait for it I guess.
Re: have you licked it too?
It's not like I take time out of my day to sit in front of a bonzai tree and take whiff after whiff of my phone. I don't waft it either. When I talk on it, its by my face. My nose is on my face. Therefore, I smell cabbage radiating from the device and I take notice.
Usable on Verizon?
Can this be used on Verizon?
Why do AT&T's Blackberries Smell Like Cabbage?
I noticed after owning an ATT blackberry 8310 while talking on it I began to detect a distinct smell of cabbage coming from the device. I thought this was funny so I returned it for the BB Bold a few days later. Upon the first phone call from this device I again noticed a very earthy smell seeping from the crevices in the device. Which leads me to believe that ATT pollutes their phones prior to distributing them. I ...
