in the camera options.. what is "counter light" and "night mode" do?

I know about the lights that blink when you get a call or make a call? But what about when you have like a voice mail or text message or just a regular service like that blinks to let u know u have a message or anything?!?!

After using the Motoroloa V60-i for a couple of years, I recently purchased the LG VX 70000. This handset is light-years away from the old technology I had been using.

The color screen is GEORGEOUS!

The blue-backlit keys are pleasing to the eyed the screen can be seen in almost any light.

The sound quality is excellent.

The phone is balanced very well and fits in the hand nicely.

The battery life is great.

The operation is simple and intuitive.

The customer support is pretty strong.

The cam and video should be fun, when I find the time.

Agreed, the ringtones that come with the handset suck (can you believe not one traditional telephone ring?), but that fix is easi...

uhhh i was wondering is this fone have a like say i take a pic nd save it as a contact of mah bf....if when he calls will it show the picture of him in the front of the fone?plz answer me thanks 😁

I'm trying to activate my voice mail for the fisrt time and i'm having trouble with it.
the directions seem unclear to me cuz it says to enter your password number of your choice. after i enter the passeword it tells me to push some button that i'm not sure of, to me it sounds like it's telling me "enter your password number and press pound" well the last word sounds like pound. can anyone please help me with this. i really have trouble with understanding what i'm suppose to do after i've entered a password number of my choice.

like the topic says, how do you delete recorded ringtones. i was just playin around with it and recorded a few seconds to test it out and i dont want it anymore. anyone know how to erase recorded ringtones?

Does anyone know about the "Force Mode" option in the service programming menu. It looks like you can force analog on this phone.

The ringtones from Sony Music Box are really short, and when you receive a call with one of them, the phone rings for the length of the tone(about 10 seconds), then stops and hangs up. Is there any way to set it so that your phone can ring for about 30 seconds making the tone start over?

Can someone tell me the difference from the blue one and the black vx7000. Is there any other difference besides the color of the face. Please help me thanks in advance

is there any way to transfer all my ringtones from the 6000 over to the 7000?

I'm debating between two phones with two different carriers. nokia 6230 - cingular and lg vx-7000 verizon. The nokia has a ton more features but if the vx-7000 could sync up with my calendar on outlook I'd be much more inclined to go with the LG over the nokia.

A verizon rep told me I could check www.datapilot.com for the cable+software suite. It would be nice to transfer pictures, video, contacts, calendar this easily. It looks promising, but

1. Has anyone tried it and if so does it really work as well as it advertises?

2. How does the vx-7000 notify you when you have an appointment scheduled in your calendar?

Well I just got the 7000 today and I STRONGLY suggest it to anyone. I've had the 6000 for about a year now and I was going to wait on the 8000 but I decided to go ahead and get the 7000 so anyone out there wanting to upgrade from the 6000.. this is definitely the way to go.

i can wait till the 8000 comes out its jes is it going to cost more bcuz the retail price of the fone of the vx7000 is 250 nd im jes wondering if the retail price of the 8000 will be under 300 cuz if not then dang ill jes stick wid the 6000

If I take a picture with my VX7000, is it possible to email that picture to a group of people? I tried doing it, but I got an error message back saying that the attachment was dropped or something. I can't figure out if it's a problem on my end, or on the recipient's end.

As a test, I took a picture and emailed it directly from the "NEW PIX MSG" option on the phone, to my Yahoo! account. It went through with no problems. However, I cant seem to email the PIX to other people - even if they also have Yahoo accounts.

Any advice?

okay well i have a vx6000...nd i was wondering to switch it in for a vx7000...well actually i jes like the front bcuz for the vx6000 all it has is the number but i also want the caller id of a picture....but i also want a fone that has voice ringtones...shud i switch to the vx7000 or jes wait...plz relpy THANKS

So, I finally broke down and bought Handset Manager. I like the program. Was I wrong in thinking that the VX7000 could play MP3's as ringtones though? Handset Manager doesn't seem to be able to support the transfer of MP3'S, is there any hacks? Also, does anyone know of any good free MP3 editing software. Mainly something to use to shorten the songs.

I just bought a Samsung SCH-a670 and I'm still in my 15 day trial period. I'm seriously thinking of returning it and getting the 7000. My only concern is the size. Is this phone really uncomfortable to carry because of its size? Other than that is there anything else i should know about this phone, any little annoyances? Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know whether the vx7000 uses the same car charger as the vx6000?

On the main display there are the red top and bottom borders. On the top left corner a tiny red triangle sticks out from the boarder. Anyone else have this issue and/or know of a resolution?
