Help with Mobile Action
So, I finally broke down and bought Handset Manager. I like the program. Was I wrong in thinking that the VX7000 could play MP3's as ringtones though? Handset Manager doesn't seem to be able to support the transfer of MP3'S, is there any hacks? Also, does anyone know of any good free MP3 editing software. Mainly something to use to shorten the songs.

Handset Manager is really a good stuff! I just got back from Germany 2 days ago, I was surprised this product is everywhere! I am also surprised people talk about this product here too.
Also, my cousin (she works for verizon) also has one handset manager kit, she loves it a lot because the cable charges the phone, also sync the phonebook with the PC. (she uses LG VX6000) 😉

I had the same question, there is a program called Goldwave that worked fine for me. You can find it at goldwave.com I have successfully uploaded an mp3 a few times before, but now that they changed vzwpix website I can no longer do it. It does not recognize the file type of .mid

I bought it from justmobile. "No returns" unfortuantely so if I want to get rid of it, ebay is my only means. I find the software completely useless, you can transfer stuff but it limits the size. I use the cable with Bitpim and it does what I want.
