flip top wiggle

Does anyone notice on their 7000 that the lid wiggles? Especially when it's closed too. I know it's probably normal because of the way the hinge is for the swivel lense, but it makes me nervous. I just got this phone a week ago. I noticed this two days after getting it. I think I am just being obsesive, but please see if your phone does this and write back. Thank you Angie 🙂 Other than that I really like this phone.

missed call beep reminder??

I'd like to know if the vx7000 has the missed call reminder. Also, what type of charger does it come with --cradle or plug? I have the 6100 and am getting TONS of dropped calls even when I have a great signal. Am thinking about trading it in for the 7000. Only reason I got the 6100 was for the speakerphone and I never use it because it is terrible (although I don't think there are any good speakerphones available). Please advise,
Thanks!

what do I need?

Hello,

Does anyone know of a good data cable for this phone that also comes with a good software program. I want the cable to be able to transfer ringers, pictures, and phone book information from puter to phone.

If anyone has any good ones out there, please let me know and where to get them. I don't need it so I can connect to my puter when I am away from home, just to transfer information from puter to phone..

thank you.

6100 t9 question and ringtone question...

first off i love this phone 😁 . so glad i switched from nextel. the recepion is the best i have had in a long time. ok, now my questions.

1. can you add words to the t9 dictionary?, and how many are you able to add.

2. i have read about sending ringtones via vpix. i notice that i can send them as mp3 and they play great. but i cant save them. i can send them as mid, save them, but they sound horrible. am able to send wav, but thy dont play.

3. i have noticed when receiving pix mgs. they always fail. i have to open the phone, goto mgs, goto the new msg. and receive the image.

if anyone can help that would be great.. im also going to post this in a few other places

MobileAction MA8052P with VX7000 (for wallpaper and rinegrs!)

Hi there, had anyone tried MA8052p on VX7000 before? My co worker shows it to me, it really surprises me very much! She can modify the ringers, change wallpapers, and also update her phonebook data, plus the cable also charges the phone!
I just order one for myself, and really can't wait to play with it! 😁

7000 or 8000?

I know there's already a thread on this, but I just have one question. If I'm never going to use VCAST, and I don't need a speakerphone, then there's no reason for me to pay the extra $100 for the 8000, right? Thanks.

Amazon.com

With rebates, this phone is free on Amazon.com. They can not tell you which color phone they stock. Has anyone ordered from them and which color did you receive, blue or black?

handset manager ma8052p, allows you to set MP3 ringtone!

I bought handset manager version 9.0 (ma8052P). This new version is really amazing! It supports video and MP3 features! I can do things to the video that I record from my VX7000, and I can also clip MP3 music and upload to my phone to set up as ringer! Now I am cool with my very own MP3 music ringtone!
Do you own a VX7000 too? If you do, you should really buy a ma8052p handset manager!!!!!! It is just so much advanced than other data kits in the market(such as datapilot & futuredial)...also handset manager comes with a resonable price, only US$ 29.99 plus tax! Really nice and I LOVE it so much!

Help me decide on which phone to get..

I am debating between the LG 8000 and the LG7000. I would like to know if anybody has had or heard of any problems with these phones. So far, from what I am reading, the 7000 seems like the phone to go with as there are people reporting problems with the 8000 already such as shutting off on its own, and freezing up, have not seen that in this forum on the 7000 yet.

Any ideas would be helpful. The 8000 offers VCAST, but, that don't matter to me, wont be using that. Besides the speaker phone part of the 8000, and VCAST, that is about the main differences between the 2 and the 7000 is $70 cheaper. As of now, I am leaning toward the 7000 unless you guys can tell me different. And I am not interested in a motorola, back in the startac day...

TEXT messaging problems!!!

Has anyone experienced any problems sending text messages with the VX-7000. I purchased this phone for my girlfriend and she is having problems sending TEXT messages to non-verizon phones.

Anytime she tries to send a message to a non-verizon phone the person doesn't get the message for a long time... usually hours later and sometimes the next day!!! Also, these messages never say "delivered" for the message status, but would say something like delivery unsuccessful.

She had the phone software upgraded to the "08" version, and nothing changed. Today we exchanged the phone for another VX-7000 and she still has the same problem. This really sucks because we both TEXT a lot to all our friends and each other.

She did change service pr...

Voicemail Number?

Anyone know how to add pauses to your voicemail number (default is *86) so you can add # and your password? I could do this in my Nokia but haven't been able to get the pauses in. The manual refers to contact numbers for entering a pause. Thanks!

Just Got My 7000

I just got my 7000 a few hours ago and I have to say it is an amazing phone. The detail in the menus is phenomenal. The menus are easy to use. This is my first LG phone so I can not compare it to the 6000 but the 7000 is a very nice phone. I like the blue part on the front and the front LCD screen is very nice. The phone is a little big but that is of no concern for me because I have been waiting for a phone for these features from Verizon since Sprint released the Sanyo 8100 so I will be keeping with this phone for a long time (probably until the 8000 is released or other Ev-Do phones). The picture quality is very nice for a camera on the go. I have a 5 megapixel camera already so I am not worried about have tremendous picture quality. I wi...
