Samsung SCH-A670

Does any one know how to "mute" this phone. I use it for a a lot of conference calls and have to mute sound but can not figure out how to do it with this phone.

Has anyone successfully downloaded ringers from eringers.com for the a670? I tried a couple and used different formats, but none were accepted. I get error 406: Not Acceptable

Any ideas or help?

I would like to download some different wallpaper graphics and front display graphics for my phone.
I've tried finding them on 'Get It Now' but I've only been able to find games, ringtones and some apps, but no options for graphics. I've also tried searching around the net but still no real luck.

I want to find some different clocks for the front display and some different animated wallpapers for the main display. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone know of some good websites for phone graphics?

LG VX6000 or Samsung A-670?

I was waiting for the Motorola V710 but only have a few more days to cancel my AT&T contract and sell my Nokia 7610 cell phone so it looks like I'll be going with one of the phones.

Which phone is better? I would like speakerphone but the VX6000 looks like its a pain to switch between it and regular. So what besides that separates the two? Thanks

Hi everyone! I just purchased a SCH-A670 phone from my local Verizon store. I like it very much but have ran into a problem with the volume of the tones.

I checked the settings and it says it is at the top volume (volume 5) and I can hardly hear the phone from the other side of the room. I was wondering if anyone else was running into this problem with the phone?

I was also wondering if there was any other company besides Modtones that you would recommend for real "standard" ringers. Modtones have a few but they are really bad.

Deciding between the two phones, can anyone offer any suggestions. After rebates and new every two, A670 would be free and the LG 7000 would be $80. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I have the phone set to lock when I turn it on.. but after I unlock it is there a quick way to lock it again besides turning it on and off?

I like this phone cuz it is internet ready and has many good features but im not sure what one I want to buy its either this phone or the Audiovox CDM 8900 please give me some opinions

HEY GUYS, MY CONTRACT WITH T-MOBILE (TRASH MOBILE)EXPIRES ON THE 1ST OF AUGUST. I AM GOING TO PORT TO VERIZON, BUT I WAS REALLY INTERESTED IN THE AUDIOVOX 9900 THAT STILL HASTN BEEN RELEASED. I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD WAIT FOR IT, OR GET THE SAMSUNG A670? IF THIS SAMSUNG IS REALLY GOOD, SHOULD I GET IT?? GIVE ME HONEST OPINIONS AND LISTINGS OF WHY IT IS SOOO GOOD IF IT IS. I've just purchased the A670 and am starting to put it thru it's paces. So far, so good. But I've noticed that the "CLR" key is very loose (It "wobbles" left and right quite a bit.) Is this normal, or should I take it back?

Alright - today was my first true test of my new A670 in a work environment - I've had it a week and had generally great thoughts about it. I was on a call today for about 35 minutes and when I hung up - I noticed that the phone was really warm - this coming through the case I have it wrapped in!

Is this normal? I know these are small computers and so they are bound to heat up, but I was wondering if I could ask my friends on this site if they have the same experience of if I need a trip to Verizon for a return prior to my 15 days.

I have heard jokes about the Samsungs getting hot like an iron, but 👿 man....

When I use the camera the images are reversed. Sometimes they also are upside down. It is as though i am looking in a mirror. If I want to move the position of the object that i want to photograph i have to do the opposite that i would w/ a regular camera. Does anyone else have a problem like this or is it a fluke on my phone? Hope someone can help me! And i hope that i described this OK.

does anyone kno how to turn off that camera shutter sound when u take the pic, i cant figure out how and i ve searched alot. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Has anyone had any experience with this device? Will it damage the phone? I just want a simple (and cheap) handsfree set that will charge the phone and no earpiece required. If anyone has this, please let me know how it works for you. Thanks!

My brother has this phone and wants to sync it with his address book on his mac. He can't find a USB cable that will connect to the phone anywhere. Does anyone know where he can get one or if one is available? please if you've got a useful link or info drop it.

Everytime I try to send me a pix message and use it for my wallpaper it gets shrunken and white space put around it! 👿 What the heck do I need to do so my stupid picture takes up the whole screen? I'v tried 128X128 with no sucess. Please Please Please help me. Thanks.

I assign a pic to a phone number and then later go into gallery and lock that picture, then if I erase "other" pictures individually the pic and the link between the phone number and the pic remains, however if I do an erase all (even though the pic that is linked is locked)my pic remains but the link with the pic to phone number is gone. Is there an upgrade to correct this as having to erase pics one by one is nuts, it seems that is why the "erase all" command was created, but it should not erase links, especially with phone numbers and pics that are still in the phone memory.

Hi Y'all, while in CONTACTS, when attempting to assign a CATEGORY and/or a new ringtone to a specific contact (by using my side-arrow keys), I receive this frustrating message: "ATTN: PHONE NUMBER MUST BE LESS THAN 10 DIGETS." and it won't allow me to edit my CONTACTS. It happens intermittently, please advise.
