Samsung SCH-A670

I know this has been asked, time and time again, but I am still looking, and have not found any cool basic ringtones. I have checked and actually downloaded some tones from eringers.com, but there has to be more out there. This is my only complaint about the phone. Can anyone help me?

I just got this phone and I am with Verizon.

Does anybody know when you go to Get It Now why they only have a couple different companies to use for downloads? It sucks. When I go to the verizon site you can look at all the songs for your phones make and model.

Even the old Samsung models have more to choose from.

2nd question. Is there a way to record a noise using voice memo and putting that as your ringer?

r there different faceplates for this phone? and also i was reading about the contacts..so basically there is no way to just have them alphabetized? each contact must have a speed dial number?

do you get charged for taking pictures and saving them? or do you just get charged for taking them and then sending it to someone?

I'm thinking about getting the a670, so I'm asking a few questions b4 i get it. My first question is: When someone calls that u assigned a picture as their personal id (like caller id or whatever), do you see the picture on the external display or the internal display when they are calling?

My second question is: If i were to go into get it now, would i be charged for using the Internet on my phone? or is that not considered Internet?

What are the steps to download a jpg image from vzwpix.com to my A670 and then attach it to a contact.

I don't remember who posted the step-by-steps to download ringers from eringers.com to the phone, but I wanted to thank that person!! The steps were easy to follow and my ringers worked the first time!!!

Will I experience any problems if someone sends me a jpg image as a "Pix Message"? Similarly is there any problem downloading a small jpg image from vzwpix.com?

Ive read reviews that the phone will only sort contacts by the speed dial number. Does anyone know how to make it sort Alphabetically?

Is there any way to transfer the photos to a PC without having to email it? Is there such thing as a USB cable for this phone?

In the picture of the a670, the color of the phone itself seems to be dark gray. But in many other pictures i have seen, the color looks like it is light gray. Can someone please tell me the color of the phone. And also is that frame thing around the internal display, blue?

If anyone is using a head set with a push button on it, what effect does it have on the phone when its pressed with the flip closed? Specifically does it activate the voice command? Can the button also be used to hang up the call?

Has anyone used the extended battery? Is it thicker or heavier than the standard battery? What is the charge like in comparison to the standard?

i would like to know if i should purchase this phone and how many pictures does it hold at one time?

Has anyone had any luck in permanently removing the headset jack cover on the a670?...I have tried pulling, but seem like in there to stay...Thinking could cut it, but don't want to leave small part in phone and have it roll around, etc..
