Coul this be true?

I heard that there is a website that you can get real music ringtones for much less than carriers charge. And also that you can upload personal files through a locker on the site and send them to your phone. So I could take any pics or ringtones from my cpu and put them on my phone? Has anyone heard of this. I think the website is called 3gupload.com? Can anyone offer advice.

best instrumental ringtones?

What do you guys think makes the best instrumental ringtones of all time?

You can try mp3 samples at Walmart.com at the music section to download and put on your phone.

Here's some ideas of what might be good ringtones:

Axel F
2010 A Space Odyssey
Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries

S65 games

I have searched High and Low for downloadable games for my Siemens s65. I can't find any decent ones.
The one I really am looking for most is a good backgammon game.

Does anyone know a good site where I can get backgammon and others free or not?

I am using an unlocked s65 with T-mo so I need a site where i can download them straight to my pc then to the phone with my cable or bluetooth.

ringtone download questions....please help

I recently bought a motorola i833 and would like to get some information on ringtones. My carrier is telus mobility and the ringtones on their site are limited and cost anywhere between $2.00 to $3.00 per ringtone. My question is can I download ringtones from other sites on the net ( if so which ones are the best ) and what will I need to get these tones on my phone. I think I will need a data cable for my phone but will I also need software to upload it to my phone? Telus will not steer me in the right direction because they say any downloads they do not support will void my warranty. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Looking for tips on best config for my Nokia 6620 and others

Hey all,
I recently bought a 6620 to replace a lost N gage QD, since then I've picked up another Ngage QD and a 9290 off Ebay. I have several 256 and 512 mb MMC cards, 1 gig and 2 gig on the way and I'm looking for some tips on tehbest setups as far as what apps, games etc spread across which cards. I travel a lot for work and I basically want to be able to watch tv shows and movies, do some MS Office type docs for work and play some games, listen to mp3s etc while on the road. I also want to use my phones for GPS navigation when I hit a strange town. In short, I'm trying ot figure out the best combination of apps / games / media to install on each card to get the best blend ie ( I tired doing a media MMC and an apps MMC but figured out I s...

AMR Hassle!

so, here's the deal...

I make my own ringtones from soundbytes I record as voice records - then I mail them to myself as mms messages and save them from there. But I've noticed that when I assign them as ringtones - and I keep my phone set most often to vibe and ring combo - they often short my phone out completely...not so much when i'm getting a text, but if someone calls me and they have an amr tone assigned to them, the phone will vibe once and then just go blank.

Sucks.

So, I figured, okay - maybe if I convert them to mp3s, that wont happen. but the phone won't let me have an mp3, so the files get converted back to amr's in the downloading process. Now, I know I was able to accept mp3's on my phone before - not sure what's goin...

"free" ring tones generate spam?

I clicked on one of the links here for "free" ring tones. Nothing's really free. If I give them my cell phone email address, am I likely to start getting spam from these outfits?

LG VX-7000 Tricks

Hey all, I have had my VX-7000 a couple months now and I've discovered a couple tricks I thought I would share. WARNING!!! Changing settings in the system menu can screw up your phone if you don't know what you are doing, Changing the programing your firmware also can screw up your phone if you don't know what you are doing. That being said... To access the service menu (this is where your NAM, PRL, WAP and such are, this is also how CDMA phones are "Locked" Into a certain carrier)... Menu--0--000000, this gets you the system menu in this menu * will bring you to the MMS menu. This next one requires a data cable and BitPim. Wanna get rid of those ugly Verizon banners? no offense, Verizon Rocks. Setup your phone drivers and all that yadda yad...
