AIM Software on 3390, E105 & V300

I've been using AIM on either my Motorola V300, Samsung E105 or Nokia 3390. I know every action u do such as Signing on, signing off & IM a buddy counts as 1 text message. Currently I have 10 buddies in my "Mobile Device", 4 of them are online. It seems that if I Sign on or off, I'm wasting a text message for every person that is on my "Mobile Device" buddy list. I've talked to 5 or 6 Customer Care Reps. & most of them can't really explain why is that. A few ppl I know & myself included noticed that because we are going to the roof with Text Messages charges, not to mention we all have Text Messages packages. 👿 Since I can't really get a straight answer from either Customer Care Reps & Text Messages Reps; I wanna know if any of u know ...

GPS on T-Mobile

I wanna know if there's a way to put GPS Software on T-Mobile phone. If so, what phones can I do it on. If can't be done, how can I go on tracking a T-Mobile phone? Last but not least, I know most of the new Nextel phones have GPS Software included in them; is T-Mobile comming out with GPS software included phones? 🙄

Which phone has LOUDEST earpiece?

Because I usually spend much of my time outdoors and in places with lots of people, being able to make sense of what the caller is saying to me is more important that any other feature! Of all the T-Mobile phones available right now, which has the loudest earpiece?

Transfer of ownership - NEW CONTRACT???

I got my T-Mobile line couple of years back under someone else's name as I didn't have an SSN then.

At that time I was under a 1 year contract and they had told me that due to the contract if I switched the line to my name I would have to sign a new one year contract rather than finish the existing one. Fair Enough. That I could understand.

At the end of the first year they offered me a super deal on a phone, I took it - and kinda forgot about changing the name on the line and signing a new contract.

Anyway 13 months since then - my line is not on any contract - but now if I want to switch the line to my name, despite good credit standing (although I believe that to be irrelevant to this cause) they refuse to let me just transfer...

UMTS

Could there be a jump straight to UMTS instead of stopping at EDGE and then upgrading agian to UMTS? I was told in my question about 3G that the step up to EDGE wouldnt be beneficial so why not stay out of the market until they have the next step for other companies to beat them to the punch and try to implimate the higher data rate that UMTS provides?

Nokia 6600

Any word on if and when t-mobile will be carrying this phone? Just recently, nokia updated their US page and it says that the 6600 will be coming out soon. The other phones on the coming soon list are either already out or coming out in the next few weeks...i've all but given up on the v600 and am looking at either the SE Z600 or Nokia 6600. Thanks in advance for any help

Switching from Sidekick to SE P900, need config info

I got a Sony Ericsson P900!!!
(GREAT Phone, BTW).

I need the configuration settings to be able to use GPRS and email. I don't want to leave my Sidekick plan, I want to be able to switch back and forth. If anyone out there can help, will be eternally greatfull. Tmobile's wireless data tiers one and two couldn't help.

Thanks,

3G?

Does anyone know when TMO will be heading towards implimenting 3G in a possible EDGE form? I know that At&t/Cingular are coming out with EDGE and will be upgrading to UMTS in the near future. I havent heard a peep from what TMO will be doing. Anyone know?

will the merger improve t-mobile coverage?

will t-mobile coverage improve in select markets since t-mobile and cingular have shared cell tower agreements in markets like California or New York?

bigger than nextel

t-mobile moves to the number 5 spot ahead of nextel now because with nextel's q4 2003 adds that only brought them to 12.9 mil. t-mobile now has 13.1 million customers. after the att/cingular merger tmo will be number 4 obviously. now we'll be on sprint's tail.
