Best way to get a new phone?

I have a kyocery KOI. Its been a decent phone, but its really messed up. Now i do want to get a new phone but what would the best way to go about this?
When i bought this phone it was the highest end phone they offered. Now i do have insurance, but i dont want another koi and i kinda want something equal to it.

Obviously i am looking at the 3 high end phones they offer, Slvr, Nokia 6265, and Krzr. I want the Slvr really, but if i could get a Nokia or Krzr i would.

Anyone have any advice on how to do this? Quite honestly i dont want to pay the full price for the phone, i would like some sort of deal, ive been a customer for 39 months now on this(my own) account.

I work for cingular business care, but i love cricket's service. I cou...

My view on cricket service.

Besides a lot of their phones being junky i love the service.

In my area Omaha Nebraska, cricket came here around the year 2000. When they first came here their service was horrible. So after using my parents phone for a while i said screw it it wasnt worth it.

In 2003 i got service with cricket and it was night and day. All the calls were crystal clear and even though my first phone was a crappy kyocera phone, it went through hell and still works when i need an old phone number to this day, missing anteanna and all.

Cricket has no difference in quality to verizon and sprint here.
Comparing cricket to cingular (which i work for cingular)
Crickets service here is so much better than cingular. Yes it does suck when i get out of my ...

Thinking about switching.

I've had verizon for four years now. The service is great, but the company had kind of f**ked me over regarding upgrades (besides that, they are always rude to me). So after visiting my local verizon retailer today and getting the run around, I decided to look at my cell phone carrier options, and I went into the new cricket store. Everything sounded pretty nice, the big $50 unlimited everything (almost) was appealing because it's cheaper than my current bill. But. I decided to look into this because I am not familiar with smaller cell phone companies and I've heard mixed reviews. So, let me just explain what my lifestyle is like and maybe someone who is familiar with cricket can give me some advice.

I live in the Vancouver, WA/ Por...

we just heard that cricket recieved a letter from a competitor that it is not allowed to flash phones becouse of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and amounts to inducement of breach of their customer contracts...anyways anyone that sells cricket and flash customers phone to cricket for activation are asked to stop right away..my question is does anyone know who was the competitor and also arent we safe becouse its the customer phone and the customer owns it. just what the library of congress said in november. customer is allowed to take his phone to other carriers of his choosing. help is very needed.....

Service in Raleigh, North Carolina?

Does anyone know when cricket will be available in Raleigh, North Carolina? I am not talking about travel time. An associate told me cricket would be available in this area February 2007, and the 13 spectrum purchase over North and South Carolina suggests this is true, but I have heard otherwise. If any one has any info on Raleigh or cricket service in North Carolina let me know!

interesting policies

i just signed up a few days ago and i just wanted to make sure everyone knew about a few things the guy in the store told me. i was talking to him about developing a plan for me to be able to upgrade from the Xcursion that i just got to the nokia slider, when it gets launched in January.

he told me that whenever anyone is signing up for cricKet service, and they are providing their own phone, whether they are activating a new line or not, they would be charged $15 for activating the phone on the line.

he also told me that the buyer could have some trouble getting their phone on their line, unless they signed up for the $50 per month plan, cuz only that plan will allow the phone to accept service from towers outside the phone's original...
