ACTIVATION QUESTION !! HELP!

Ok, verizon is my carrier, I have a spare E815 that I'm not using, my best friend has cricket service. My question to you is, can this phone be re-programmed and activated on cricket? will cricket give me any crap even tho there is some kind of law by the fcc that says that as long as you have a phone compatible with the network (cdma in this instance), you can use any phone you please.
Can anyone answer this? thanks!

The most ignorant thing I ever heard...

We just started cricKet in Louisville. My ears have had the misfortune to hear probably the dumbest thing in my life. Somehow there is a rumor that cricKet is owned by the police or government and cricKet phones are tapped. This is ridiculous and NOT TRUE. I know unlimited minutes, unlimited text and picture messaging with no contract or deposit sounds too good to be true, but it isn't; The rumors are just that rumors, not true. cricKet has arrived, so get a phone!

Will an unlocked SLVR work with Cricket?

I'm looking at getting a SLVR but only if it will work with Cricket.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2 ... »

It states that it will work with Cingular so it's CDMA compatible, right?

Prepare the troops

Yep i said it. Seems from what i am hearing t-mobile is afraid of criket in texas. Seem you guys/girls got them on the run. Time to put on your cricket body armor and go to war. I am still in shock that tmobile would go that far to stop criket from selling service in the area. Feel bad for the resellers in the middle though. Go tell catherine zeta jones how to get more. 🤣 🤣

which phone do you reccomend?

I've had Cricket for almost 2 years now and my old audiovox phone finally broke the other day and now I need a new phone. I've been considering getting a new phone from cricket for a while and now have to. I've been lookin at the Slider remix alot b/c it seems to have just about everything for cricket (bluetooth, MiniSD card, 1.3 camera) but the last place i went to look told me that its not a good phone and I shouldn't get it, which pissed me off. Anyone have suggestions, cause i'm really leaning toward the slider, i guess im just kinda lookin for someone to talk me out of it. Thanks -alex

Cricket Clicks with Verizon "Get it Now" icon

I just thought this was intresting. I turned on my razr v3c and instead of the little hand icon for the cricket clicks it was the verizon GET IT NOW symbol. and now it won't change back. Very werid. 🤨
