Port in credit question

To receive the port in credit do you have to port in during activation, or can you try Sprint out and if it works port your number in later and still receive the credit?

My thoughts on sprint

Sprint's double standards have been getting a lot of undeserved attention recently. If you disagree with my claim that people are looking for answers, not ideology, then read no further. Shame on Sprint for thinking that people like you and me are obtuse! No one is more acrimonious than Sprint. I won't dwell on that except to direct your attention to the impolitic manner in which it has been trying to popularize a genre of music whose graphic lyrics explicitly urge ruthless gadflies to overthrow the government and eliminate the money system. Sprint is the type of organization that turns up its nose at people like you and me. I guess that's because we haven't the faintest notion about the things that really matter such as why it would be good...

Sprint to kill its Premier Program

Saw this on PhoneArena.com:

http://www.phonearena.com/news/Sprint-to-kill-its-Pr ... »

Sprint's "Premier" program was a poorly-designed, poorly-run program that never should have seen the light of day in the first place. It ignored a huge number of long-time, valuable, post-paid customers while giving some newbie customers Premier status. It angered more customers than it pleased.

Congratulations to Sprint for finally having the smarts & the huevos to deep-six an inherently bad program. The only unfortunate thing is that it went on for so long.

Administrative Fee Increase and Cancellation

You in fact CANNOT opt out of your agreement. Sprint's subscriber agreements state that the administrative fee can be charged up to $1.99. They are being increased from $.99 to $1.50 which is under what the customer already agreed to. No ETF waiver available.

Sprint is getting much much worse...I'm leaving for AT&T this weekend.

I've been with Sprint since the HTC Evo, but their customer service SUCKS...and now the coverage is getting worse. Several people that I know in my area; the small city of LOS ANGELES, have shared similar problems. Sprint coverage is getting worse!!!

Nickels and Dimes

I wrote before about carriers in general and Sprint specifically nickel and diming their customers to death. Just got my bill for the 4G internet. It seems as though their administrative charge is going from $0.99 to $1.50. It's a free out of contract, but what's the point of constantly adding to these fees?

Optimus Slider

Anyone know if this is going to be a 4G phone?

I am trying to get a 3G only phone because our business plan is exempt from the new 3G monthly fee but not the 4G.

If its going to be 4G I might just get the Shift instead.

verizon to sprint

has anyone on here switched from verizon to sprint???? I'm just curious if you werre happy with the service.....Thank you in advance, I am in Maryland and would love a cheaper bill, but I am really afraid to port over my business line because I need good reception. So instead I got a different phone number to use for the 30 day trail period....

Thanks for any info you can provide..I got the HTC Shift and love the phone but afraid of revception in some areas, compared to verizon

Sprint's new ads

I actually like them, now that Verizon isn't offering unlimited data anymore, Sprint really came out guns-blazing 😁

Don't tell me you haven't seen them, both on the side there and on TV?

Account Question ?????

I purchased the sprint overdrive pro from best buy mobile on April 22. I used the device a couple of times, and decided I didn't want it. I returned it on May 7th, they refunded me my money and everything was all set. A week ago Some debt collectors called asking why I haven't paid my sprint bill, I told them I had no clue what they were talking about. They tried to say I owed like 300 something dollars, they claimed I did not cancel with in 30 days. They say the account was canceled on the 25th of May, but best buy has the records showing that I canceled with in two weeks. I've talked to about 10 different sprint customer service people, who don't know what the hell they are doing. Best buy has even talked to sprint, but all they said was ...

Sprint not working really well for me at work

I have been using Sprint now for a number of years and honestly the service has always been spotty at best. But the last few weeks or so at around 12 in the afternoon, my phone goes into roaming or 1/x and I can't even send texts or get on my Apps, etc. I work in the Earth City, MO area and especially when I am indoors, the service is HORRIBLE.

On a side note, in my condo which is in the St. Louis area as well, I get horrible coverage and dropped calls. If I did not have WiFi, I would problably have even worse coverage.

I have the Samsung Nexus S 4G phone and its about 1 month old.

I have already talked to Sprint Customer Service and they escalated the ticket to a Network person who actually is on the streets.

I have also ...

E-mail contact for current customer

Is there an E-mail contact for customer support... I tried calling, but couldn't get my story to sound right... Thought, if I could just put everything down in an email...

My Rant
I recently move down from Ohio to WV.

I had a 614 area code on my cell phone.

Eventually I came up with the idea of getting a virtual phone number with a 304 area code.

Now, how was I to switch them.

I borrowed a phone from a friend and started up a new account, and had my 304 phone number ported in. This went with no problems.

I than switched the phone numbers for the two phone, so my 304 number was on my EVO.

After a couple weeks, of thinking about it. I decided to cancel my other phone that now had the 614 number. I did...
