I I am under paid. what do you guys make for wages and what is your position? I get paid 11.35 CANADIAN for AT&T now Cingular customer care and I have been at my job almost 1.5 years. Started at 10.00 canadian. I believe you guys make a higher wage in American money

Today we were given migration tools and told to migrate people to cingular but they forgot to tell us how to use the tools and what rate plans were available. I would rethink the insurance. but also in the policy it could state that if such and such is wrong with your phone you cannot have insurance added. thay might wait until you have the insurance before showing the policy for that reason. the policy may help you aviod not being able to add it

I work AWS customer care. If I got the call I wouldn't credit her. When warranty processed the exchange they would have asked if there was any physical damage done to the phone. It's her own fault for lying. depending how mad she was and how much money she made the company I would consider crediting her up to what she was eligible for. most people are about 25.00 give or take a bit.

Do any dealers ever show customers notes on the account? When you bring up their account can they see what you are looking at?

I make sure I go over everything I can think of with the customer exspecially when I change there plan. I write notes with everything I told them to. a lot of the time a note is what stops us from having to give credit later. I would say MAYBE 1% of the time dealers write notes. If you add something to the customers account no matter what it is please write a note saying the customer accepted whatever ...

for anyone who gets EDGE rewards there are 2 tests you can take on the site one TDMA and one GSM. Each are worth 500 points if you can pass the test. Since I am in TDMA I passed that test no problem. alot of indirect dealers have contracts like that. that is why you are better to go to a direct dealer. AT&T's phones can be bought regular retail from about 89.99 and up with no contract. although when you activate new service it does require a contract

i work tdma care and when it comes to gsm i know almost nothig. they don't train us for gsm so i fake my way through it most of the time. now we just refer the cust to the store or website so it's not too hard. once in a while i get a question i don't know so i just call gsm care and get the answer. i know what you mean about calling care. we are not ...

it happens in customer care too. so of them are hard to understand when they are calm. try having them yell at you. then we get employees from aws that call us when they have customers that can't talk well and they try to have the cust talk. some sound like robots and you don't want to ask them to repeat themselves
