dear Eric, voice quality
How do you determine the voice quality being an issue of the device and not the network?
Re: Camera
my reply didnt post for some reason
people equate 5mp as crappy when in fact they really don't know that the mp is not a major factor for pic quality
Re: Saw The Phone Today...VERY Disappointed
you will need to use the device more than just a few minutes to appreciate ice cream sandwich
the buttons make it a 4.5" screen which is .2" bigger than the rezound
when watching videos though you get the full 4.65" screen
swype is coming, no big deal...the stock keyboard is very good. I've gotten used to it quite easily even after using swype on my x for almost a year.
phone size to me seems better than the razr because the razr ...
Re: It's a IMPOSTER anyways
some awesome logic you got here
Re: Reading the negatives
voice quality sounds good to me
signal strength is good as well
havent had issues
then again i'm not paying attention and being anal to the 1 bar level
Re: Rezound > Nexus

Re: This phone
razr has motocast and smart actions which by themselves are enough reasons to go with the razr.
besides, the hardware is phenomenal on the razr while the htc is just the same old htc style
the lock screen is cool on the new sense, that's about i'll give the rezound over the razr
razr can uninstall non vzw bloatware - this is a big win for me - pretty sure the htc can't do this
do keep in mind sense was mainly created ...
Re: Possible Screen Problem
what a stupid thing to complain about
i can't begin to explain the stupidity of this complaint
Re: Can't remove the battery?
Cry me a river on the battery
I've never replaced a battery on any phone and i've owned many smart phones including Android
Its got a good sized battery so life should be solid, something like 1750mah
You can reboot it by holding the power and volume down keys
What the "Wrap-Up" Should Say
The wrap up should just say:
"Bottom line it's not an Apple device.
Because of this i have to be super anal about the smallest of things."
If you use smart actions you can extend the battery considerably. Besides when did battery removal become some a beneficial feature? I'll tell you when, when Motorola made it fixed like how Apple has been doing for years.
It's just something for Apple fans to complain about. Illogical blindly following Apple to complain about stupid small ...
SWYPE!!!!!!
It has swype, awesome
Re: droid wish list

Re: droid wish list

Re: Droid over HTC Imagio, why does the Droid get all the press?
accidentally hit submit and wanted to add that erris has been out for a while under different names so that could be why its not as popular.
i personally love the sense ui on the erris and would love to have that ui on the motorola
Re: Droid over HTC Imagio, why does the Droid get all the press?
couple ideas
1. negative misconceptions about winmo...i personally have fallin back in love with winmo after owning the omnia which made me realize its really the device/hardware that makes ade vice, not so much the os
2. androids marketplace is more developed than winmo's marketplace
3. moto droid has a more customizable home screen desktop...imagio has touch flo 3d whic i personally dont like and it has homescreen themes but none allow u to add ur widgets and shortcuts or a combination ...
MUST READ! If ur device power cycles
Some apps are not 2.0 compatible and could be the culprit on the device power cycles. Check the application properties and if it isnt compatible then remove it
1 MUST HAVE FREE APP
its called Advanced Task Killer and u can get from marketplace or whatever googles app store is called.
there is no task manager on the device to close apps so alot of issues like slowness or freezing can be remedied, even battery life can be extended if u keep the number of running apps to a minimum.
also keep in mind pressing hold down the home key shows most recent used apps, it doesnt show what apps are currently running

Re: Music player / phone interaction
I just tried with my 8550 and im allowed to make call while music is playing.
I started a song and while it was playing i went into contacts, chose a contact then pressed send. The music paused when the call was connected then when the call was ended the music resumed.

Re: White Page on Power On
mone doesnt, sorry yours does. What happeneds when u go to settings, then power on/off, then change the on setting?
How about....
....a comparo between this and the new chocolate?
Also, wanted to mention that even though most phones have a 2.5mm headphone jack, one can use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter to use regular headphones. I do on my vx8550 and it sounds awesome.
Re: txt entry options**BUMP** for eric
just bumpin it to the top in hopes of getting a response
txt entry options
In WM5 if you click on the up arrow next to the keyboard symbol at the bottom in the compose msg screen a list pops up showing different txt entry options available besides using a mini touch keyboard.
For one handed txting on my xv6700 without the stylus or slide out keyboard I tap on the arrow next to the keyboard symbol then choose phone pad. This phone pad beasically brings up a phone pad where i can use t9 ...
Re: Quick2Net on the i730
I believe this was the original name for the mobile office kit. It allowed you to connect to the 1st generation data network at about 14.4 kbps. Your better off connecting to 1x at around 56 kbps.
Re: bluetooth
I'm not disputing what it specifically can or can't do. Just stating that some OBEX profiles on this device are enabled.
Re: bluetooth
I appreciate the definition of the word some. I really do not understand what point you are trying to make as I have the 6700 and am able to transfer music, office docs, ringtones, apps, and pix.
What else is there?
Re: bluetooth
Please re-read. It says that it won't support ALL OBEX profiles. That means that it will have some OBEX ability.
LG KE850
Anyone know for sure if this is coming to VZW?
Re: Motorola VE in Phonelist
How funny. That list also shows the u740. I think this is the ve--> go to www.motorola.com and in the search box type maxx.
Please Read, MP3 Clarification
Most new phones like the enV, Chocolate, Krzr, and vx8600 support MP3s. Here's a quote from these phones guides, "Music Player (supports MP3 and WMA formats)."
Re: SORRY IF THIS WAS ALREADY ANSWERED
about 500 songs if they're each 4 minutes at 128kbps
Re: E-mail
Thanks but I got a little help from Wikipedia
Re: 0.002 cents
In the blog its self there are multiple statements in absolute - that's where I derived that from.
Regardless of having a data plan prior or not .002 still doesn't make sense.
I'm really sorry that the customer had to go through this and witness these mistakes but to record the calls and make t shirts and post a blog is just ridiculous.
Prior to this the reps references all just said $.002 so it was a mistake.
Re: E-mail
Not necessarily.
The best way to think of pushed email is with text msgs. U receive txt msgs the instant (for the most case) they are sent with out u doing anything. Blackberries on a Blackberry Enterprise Server work the same way; emails sent are received almost instantly. The email is pulled automatically from the server the automatically pushed to the device.
With pull email u can respond to them but the only difference is that the user manually initiates the ...
0.002 cents
I just to want present my 2 opinions about the subject matter above.
1. I believe with a good amount of certaintity that the customer knew full well what the charge was and took advantage of the situation. How can u believe the charge is 0.002 of a cent? That's a riduclous charge and just doesn't make sense.
2. Saying that EVERYBODY at Verizon Wireless is dumb is not right. All 50,000 + employees are dumb because of the mistake of ...
Re: E-mail
Its cool - push is definitely a lot easier and more convenient. I do pull from the PDA cause I don't get emails much.
Re: E-mail
That's a good point. Push technology works by 1st pulling the email from the server then pushing it to the phone with no human intervention.
Re: E-mail
Push and Pull are different. The best way to think about it is push goes from the server to ur phone and pull goes from ur phone back to server.
