If they want to return a phone within the time limit and had it ordered from Telesales, are we not supposed to transfer to said department to "switch" the phone?
My sup says that's how it works. I suspect we're supposed to be getting them to order support and then to you guys.

As much as it frustrates and makes me /RAGE? I know there's a certain level of personal responsibility as well. If the victim wanted to stop the abuse, he/she would leave.
Which is why I hope the abused do, indeed, find strength in themselves and get the hell out of dodge.

the EVO Shift.
^-^ I like the phone, personally. It's nice, nowhere near as heavy and bulky as you'd think, keyboard is nice and easy to navigate, screen is beautiful (who really needs a mega-big screen? Not me!) and everything just responds in a nice way.
Thing I didn't like? The home key is in an annoying place for my fat finger/handed self, so I hit out of my programs a lot, unfortunately. But that's a personal issue, not a phone ...
The Abusive
You hear the husband/spouse shouting at them in the background and threatening to beat the hell out of them for changing something on the account/because the account holder downloaded phone and yet, somehow, it's their spouse's fault that the bill is so high.
I've had a few of these; my boss makes me go take a walk after them because I'm usually an unholy amount of pissed and ready to fight after 'em.
One gal told me about what her husband ...
Even worse?
A mother/father calling in to cancel their son or daughter's line because they've been killed in action overseas.
/has two uncles active in the military, a brother in law and two cousins also serving. Broken heart every time.

I dislike Verizon, had some wicked bad experiences with them; they wanted a $600 deposit and three months of service up front at one of their corporate stores in Colorado. Why? I had no credit and was fresh out of high school when I initially tried to sign up.
My friend, also a Verizon customer, told the guy off, walked out of the store and drove to an indirect dealer, talked with the guys there, got me signed up ...

We say the same thing about sales; I've had the pleasure of speaking with agents who've gone, "Okay, I want to know why this error is happening, can you help me fix it so I don't have to call care?"
I love those agents and they make my day. Or the ones who go, "Check on this for me, will you? I want to make sure I'm right and can tell the customer such."

Most of us do our jobs.
But a lot of us? We're getting tired of taking calls from sales who immediately want our IDs and get pissed at us for refusing to transfer them to another department or for correctly refusing to take a call that sales themselves, according to the notices we get from corporate, is more than able to do- they just don't want to deal with it or have angered the customer and want to shift ...
