Exactly! This will not hurt T-mobile one bit. Some BB users will leave and others will just look to unlock devices sold by other carriers.

This company is just a reseller for Verizon. J Lo invested her money and is also selling accessories which people will buy just because she's involved with it. It doesn't cater to illegals because you need a SSN, etc. and it's a contract plan. Illegals can get other prepaid services which require little or no personal information.

Contract plans come with a phone subsidy and also offer more coverage(roaming on other carriers networks) which prepaid Gophone doesn't. Contract plans also offers International coverage, faster data speeds, family plans and work discounts. Bring these issues to customers. When they find out they have to pay more for a phone and they might not have coverage when they travel somewhere with a prepaid plan, it changes most people decisions. Of course, you always have people who will go ...

I have a Mytouch 3g slide which I purchased used. I was on monthly 4G prepaid for 2 months and they provided me the unlock code when I told them I needed it because I was traveling overseas. Here's all they require from their email. 1. Must be active for 60 days 2. Must have a balance of at least $10.00 or have had a refill placed on the account within the last 30 days Thank You, Sim Unlock Department T-Mobile USA, Inc.

As pricing goes down, so do the number of customer call reps available. If you can get by with little to no customer service then it will work for you. Next month T-mobile is cutting data roaming down to 10-200mb per month depending on the plan you're on. While some people can live with this, unfortunately I can't so I will have to go to a different carrier.

I'm surprised there was no mention here that T-mobile's monthly prepaid $50 plan's data was increased from 100mb to unlimited with the first 100mb at up to 4G speeds. They also offer a blackberry data add on to the plan for $10 more a month. The $70 plan offers unlimited data with what I assume is 4G speeds. http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans /prepaid-plans.aspx

The details say that it's only mobile web and doesn't support full web browsing. You also have to remember this is only on the Verizon native network. If you are not on their network you have to pay roaming charges of 20 cents a minute and there is no data roaming.

With the no contract plan you are saving $20 a month times 24 months total $480(not to mention the additional taxes each month) I don't see geting many phones for free at that price on contract. The Samsung Galxaxy S and G2 have a s.r. of $499 You still have to pay $199 after discounts/rebates on contract.

First of all you assume that the deal is going to be approved. Second once you sign a contract, if anything is changed in the contract that you agreed upon, you have 30 days to get out of it without having to pay the cancellation fee. If you don't want to sign a contract, they are also offring even more plus for $59.99 http://www.unwiredview.com/2011/04/12/t-mob ile-launches-two-new-unlimited-plans-on-april -13-starting-at-59-99-per-month/?utm_source=f eedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed% 3A+UnwiredView+%28Unwired+View%29 This why they will grandfather plans as long as you don't upgrade with a new ...

Still too expensive. At&t Go phone offers the same $2 a day on the days used and includes text messages(international also). The pay by the minute plan is just 10 cents a minute (no daily fee also). The Go phones also come with $15-$50 credit not $10.

The info on their website says "If you miss a payment you don't have to start over. The on-time payments made to the account will still be credited towards your next savings milestone." so that's good. Hopefully it will force some of the other carriers to do the same thing or offer something better.

Right and I am sure that's what they are counting on down the line. Also who knows after 12 months or 18 months who knows there maybe be something better out there. The bottom line is cheaper isn't always better.

It's a combination of the two equaling 1500 with Pageplus you get 1200 minutes and 1200 texts.

The talk and text is mixed not 1500 talk and 1500 text so Pageglus 1200 talk and text and 50mb data is still better.

Basically it lets the user pay per day instead of shelling out $50 ahead of time. So now a $10 refill is good for 5 days. They also offer a $3 a day blackberry plan. On the $2 plan it will end up costing $10 more this way but be the same price on the blackberry plan. You have the option of switching it so you can upgrade or downgrade.
